Q: Supposing the US enacts an effective climate change policy, shouldn't gas do better than oil/coal/tarsands, etc? If so, who among Canadian energy processors/transporters should realize the greatest benefit?

Q: Earth Day
Hi Team
I would like to make sure that part of my portfolio is invested in the planets future. Can you please give me a list or link to stocks that would play into this theme. Charge as many credits as needed.
Much thanks and Happy Earth Day

Q: Good morning,
I would be interested in looking at companies in the Canadian oil patch,i.e. small caps and mid-caps with a solid risk reward ratio and that would offer strong leverage to the price of oil.Warrants offer much leverage but don't seem to used much anymore by companies, why would that be? Many thanks ,
Jean

Q: Canadian Natural Gas producers seem wildly undervalued (to me anyway...) Checking my thesis here: Natural Gas netbacks are showing 40% increases over last year, and 2020 was almost 80% higher than 2019. Carbon sequestration makes maximum sense as an alternative revenue stream, and it appears at least one company (AAV) is doing just that. Valuation multiples remain very low (which is fine if one is going to invest) but it remains puzzling to me. Am I missing something? Or are all hydrocarbon stocks being re-rated (lower) due to ESG concerns? Are O&G stocks the new "Tobacco" stocks (this reference may dates me somewhat...) Any high level thoughts here to help me in decision making?

Q: I am considering either ENB or TRP as an income investment. Could you provide the dividend payout for each, and the percentage of gas vs oil in their pipelines. There is a lot of news about the potential closing of Enbridge line 5 in Michigan, and the affect on Canadians. But, what is the affect on the company? What percentage of their business depends on line 5 , and what are their alternatives if it is closed? Is TRP facing any similar challenges (aside from Keystone XL)? Which company do you prefer looking strictly at dividend sustainability and potential dividend growth?
Thank-you

Q: Appreciate any comment you can provide on this junior energy company, Pieridae Energy Limited. Of interest are management ability, financial stability, historical and future performance and any other metrics that stand out.

Thank you in advance for this, and for significant investment help over the past 5 years.

Q: Good Day; I'm considering a switch between my current holding of AQN (I've had for a few years and have an unrealized capital gain) and moving into NPI with the recent acquisition news. The capital gain tax consideration aside, how would you compare the growth and dividend profile between these two companies for the medium to long term future based on the recent NPI acquisition.

thanks,

Q: Having been horribly burned by investments in oil and gas companies , I have been much too shy to even glance at any (scared is a more honest word, but shy is more polite— and sounds better). Since energy is a sector that is too stubborn to exit markets, please suggest an ETF that would cover the pesky allocation thing. I would prefer , if possible , companies that are primarily refining and distribution , not so much exploration. Also prefer US or Euro listed ETFs.

If you think one decent energy company would likely be better than the diluted results ETFs give, please suggest two names that would be one can buy and just forget— company listed in Canada or anywhere I developed Europe.
