Q: Their first q numbers came out today and they appear to have beat even the highest expectations at least on earnings. Can you please give me your commentary? These shares seem quite cheap and the company's financial position (cash of 98 million and no debt) leaves room for lots of growth and perhaps even starting to pay a dividend.
Q: I noticed that Topaz Energy is a subsiduary of Tourmaline with an interesting royalty model and a good dividend. It's a recent IPO.
I wondered what you think of its prospects.

Q: Hi 5i,
Thinking about initiating position in GXE. How did earnings look to you going forward?
Share price has run up quickly in last two weeks, would you be interested at current prices or does it have more room to move up?
What would be your three best energy plays for short to medium term?
Thx
Jim

Q: I have received voting materials from XOM and there is a lot of discussion about a hedge fund called "Engine No. 1" that is trying to insert some directors on the board of XOM. This is interesting to me. Are you familiar with this effort? Can that even happen? And should I follow XOM's advice and vote along party lines?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Hi, please comment on latest quarterly results.

Q: Hi
Do you think it is wise to exchange Fts for npi due to their recent trajectory. I have 2000 Fts thinking about selling500 and purchasing npi. What do you think about this strategy.
Thanks
Mike

Q: Peter; Do you think oil prices are now linked to the Covid situation in India , ie the drop in demand? Thanks. Rod
Q: Dear 5i,
AQN pays a common share dividend defaulted in USD.
Is this an "eligible dividend" for Canadian investors?
AQN announcement says Canadian investors can request to receive it in CAD.
Can you help explain how to do this if I hold it in a Canadian brokerage account.
thanks

Q: What makes some analysts give this a target of 30 dollars.
Thanks Steve

Q: Dear 5i,
I originally bought this for around $49; then the company adjusted when the split for BEPC occurred. Some time later, I thought it ok to sell them at around $70. How do I figure out if a re-entry point for BEP.UN is good today at around $45, given that if I look at my brokerage graph the historical value of what I paid at $49 then, appears as around $25 now ie the graph has changed because of the split?
If it is tough to calculate/compare history, could you advise if today is a good price - thinking this time I should hold them a longer 7+ years.
Thank you for helping me,
Hilary

Q: Any idea what is happening with BEPC? The stock has gone down 15% in the last 3 weeks. Is this just a good buying opportunity?
Q: Does this company have a high dividend and how long has it paid it? Also is it sustainable?
Q: What's pushing up the price of Altagas in the last few days? Do you expect the trend to continue?
Q: Good Morning. The green renewables seem to taking a backseat to the cyclicals oils and metals. Will the high cost of metals. plastics etc. needed to build the equipment for renewables hamper the ongoing investment in this area. I see great future for natural gas area. Your thoughts. Have a great weekend.
Q: I would appreciate your expertise analysis of their results. I believe this oil and gas company has not debt and has been buying back shares.
Good time to add to my position?
Thanks
Dave.

Q: Hi 5i,
Can you recommend 3 renewable energy companies that meet these criteria and rank them in order of preference:
1. trade on Canadian exchange
2. suitable for providing income for a RRSP/RIF account
3. reasonable valuation at today's price
4. hopefully buy and hold forever
thanks
