Q: This is a comment rather than a question. Like other 5i investors holding this stock, I am disappointed with the recent price decline. While no one likes stock price depreciation (except shorts of course), I have to credit 5i with at least having the decency to admit that it was wrong. In a world where blame is often deflected or excused for some reason or other, I find it refreshing that 5i has the integrity to admit a mistake. Let's hope there are better days ahead for this company. I suspect there will be.

Q: Any thoughts on this co. at this time. seem to have a lot of cash still. thanks
Q: how much of SIS does ATS own?
Q: What am I missing about PBH: high crazy debt, low ROE, high P/R . High interest rates must be hurting them with all this debt. I never bought because it always seems expensive. My neighbour and his LP have held 7% shares for many years - bought low single digits. I should have listened to him all those many years ago - LOL.. Too expensive to buy now as I can get better returns in banks: capital and compounding dividends. Just curious on your comments. I thought ofd buying at $79.00 and, of course did not do so.
Q: Uh oh. Tonight's news release didn't sound great. I'm down 50% on this stock but don't mind holding if you still think it has long-term potential. Any updated thoughts on this stock? Thanks.
Q: Best table pounding buy today for a registered account any sector?
Q: Do recent results change your perspective of consumer discretionary, small caps, fashion, growth or other parallels to aritzia?
Q: Hello,
I have ATZ at a loss in my TFSA, so no benefit from the loss if I sell. In this situation and with a 5 year+ timeline, would you see ATZ as a hold, or are there other growth stocks you would have more confidence in? Thanks.

Q: All three stocks have been setting higher highs and higher lows since mid April. Have you heard any news on why these three stocks are having a positive uptrend recently? All three have crossed the 50 and 200 day moving averages. Clayton

Q: Good morning 5i
In an answer to an earlier question on bn you mentioned that 5i holds less than 4 per cent of this stock in the balanced portfolio. I found this a bit surprising, given your generally favourable attitude towards BN. I know there are numerous variables involved in choosing a stock for a portfolio. But I was just curious as to your reasoning
Second question has to do with LMN, which you are also favourable towards. I know that you cannot make individual portfolio decisions but i would appreciate your general opinion. I have received less than one percent of this stock from the split off and have been thinking about selling it or adding to it. The question comes down to whether it is an appropriate stock for a retired person, albeit one who can afford to and does take moderate risk, to hold. Although it is small and new, i am encouraged by its association with csu.
Thanks for your great service

Q: Good morning, it looks like ATZ will be having a rough day after their most recent earnings report. Do you think it will be a good time to buy after the damage is over and the stock settles down thanks?
Q: I do not want to say i was right, but my question on May 7, stated what the real problem with this stock was, way too much inventory, it is the death of profit margin in the fashion clothing industry.
Q: Can you comment on Aritzia’s earnings. They reported after Bell so not sure market action. How do you expect the stock will react. I read gross margins were down.
Q: I find it strange that the stock took such a dive a week before the earnings came out,$37 to $33.50!!Looks like somebody knew something!!!
Q: Over the last few days TOI has fallen from a high of $110 to a low of $98 and so is there any news that would explain people pulling out of this stock? Would you say this is a buying opportunity. Thanks so much.
Q: Hi Guys
i noticed you topped up Aritzia to 4.5% in your Jun update, the stock is down about 10% the last week or so, not sure i understand your strategy here. If a hard landing does come, which is quite possible, EPS could get crushed in this fashion retailer, i bet at some point its down another 30%, like many of the other stocks, take GOOS as another example.
Again it seems to me that 30-40 % draw downs from purchase price recommendations are no big deal.
Thanks ! Gordie

Q: Hi 5i,
Any thoughts on their CFO stepping down to pursue other opportunities? Have read some analyst commentary, and as usual these type of questions are subjective, so would like to hear your thoughts.
Thx
