Q: An anecdotal comment and a question.

1) When you recommended ECN as part of the portfolio I purchased EFN instead, a fat finger mistake. Unfort when I realized the 'mistake' I made I sold me EFN and bought ECN. A mistake I wished I hadn't corrected.

2)An analyst I follow, with a 65% success rate (wished I was that good) made this recco this am.:

"TD Securities analyst Mario Mendonca downgraded ECN Capital Corp. (ECN:CN) (OTC: ECNCF) from Buy to Hold with a price target of Cdn$0.00..."

I have seen your comments on ECN this am. Its performance has been abysmal ever since it was added to the port, how strongly do you feel ECN will survive and not hit 0?

Q: Hello 5i team,
I currently hold BNS in my TFSA for income. I wanted to add more given the recent downgrade of some CAN banks. Is the downgrade given as a result of US banking turmoil and recession anticipation (South American exposure in BNS's case)?

How stable is the dividend very long term? Do you think there will be an increase in the coming quarter/annual results? I have asked this before but would like to know what the pulse is for it's payout.

Thank you,
Andrew

Q: Just a comment when a guest asks why the stock is going down in the day, and a lot of the time the answer is selling because the stock is up 60% this year, but this stock was bought was probably bought many 5i clients when it was recommended as a buy in the 8 dollar level two years, sometimes I wish 5i would say get out of this stock, sell, it is so over priced, you sare not investing, just gambling. I just feel that a lot of investors need more help when to be lest GRČEDY.

Q: I have see. Reports from TD and elsewhere about how extremely discounted BN is. For example “ BN's 75% stake in BAM alone represents ~80% of BN's market cap. The market value of BN's stakes in BEP and BIP (~$17bln combined) more than offsets corporate leverage of ~$16bln, which implies that the market is assigning less than zero value to: 1) BN's stake in BBU (~$2bln); 2) the real-estate portfolio; 3) the insurance business; and/or 4) carried interest.”

How is this company not a “table pounding buy” at these levels given management’s record and current price.
