Q: Hi guy, Is there any reason of which you are aware as to why PUR doesn't seem to be going anywhere?
Thanks
Mike
Thanks

Q: Why the big jump in CDV today? Any big news? Thanks for the great recommendation.
Q: Would appreciate your overview of Guestlogix's closing of a CDN$9 Million Credit Agreement with a 12% interest rate and issuance of 2,400,000 warrants at $0.796 and how they have said they are going to use the funds. Thank you.
Q: Could not find any news today on GXI. Why the big move?
Thanks
Thanks

Am I missing something or still not posted. If not posted yet, when can we expect

Q: May I get an opinion on this penny stock.
Q: Would it be possible to include the columns "Sector", "Industry" and "Sub Industry" to the growth portfolio reports? I know the income and equity portfolios used to disclose this, rather than just the %'s for the overall portfolio(s).
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: I have positions in AVO, CXI, DHXb and DRT from the growth portfolio and would like to add another to my wife's TFSA. Assuming a generally balance portfolio (except a bit overweight in financials), which would you add from the growth portfolio? Thanks
Q: Thanks to your advice I am now convinced of the power of diversification with respect to investing. I am 54 years old and have no defined pension plan. I would like to diversify my investing via your portfolios. All money is in non registered accounts and TFSA.
With these facts in mind what percentage of my investment portfolio should be in your income, model, growth portfolios and a accompaning canadian blue chip portfolio. From your previous answers I have found that you recommend that your portfolios be backed up with canadian blue chip stocks.
I have been gradually cashing out my RRSP's and putting the money into my nonregistered accounts and TFSA with the goal to have them cashed out by age 65.
I look forward to hearing your percentages as this will be most helpful going forward.

Q: Very pleased with the growth portfolio over less than two months. Great work.
The Fed indicated today that rates might rise in September. What small cap Canadian companies might be worth investing in now as potential beneficiaries?
Thank you.

Q: I'm going through your growth portfolio, what about Guestlogix makes you think they are a longer term growth stock.
Q: Hi 5i team,
I'd appreciate a clarification to your response to Michele this morning. You suggested it would be okay to add to OTC but in a post a few days earlier, after the big plunge of OTC, you indicated that you may have to review it's inclusion in the growth portfolio. I'm not sure if it means you've had another look at OTC and decided it's good to hold, even given current conditions. I'd appreciate clarification since I had been thinking about purchasing more (but luckily wasn't too quick to pull the trigger since it lost significant share price).
As always, thank you for everything you do!!!

Q: I have all of the holdings from your growth portfolio in my TFSA as per the percentages you recommended. I now have $10,000 more to add to my account. Would you recommend that I top up the companies that have done well or the companies that are down since buying them all? And/or would you suggest 3 or 4 that you think are the best bet at this time (so I don't have too many trading fees)?
Thanks so much, your advise is appreciated

Q: I'm a new member. Looking at your portfolios, would you suggest that someone who wants to take a position in one of your portfolios buy the listed stocks at roughly the listed allocation? Or is there an element of these portfolios being geared towards investors who bought in at the portfolio start price or ACB?
From some of your recent responses I'm gathering that you sometimes let growing stocks grow in allocation percentage. For example, CSU looks like it has had a great run and is 6.8% of the BE portfolio, but it looks like it may be highly priced (only looking at price relative to recent past). Do the listed portfolio allocations apply to new investors who are taking a position in the stocks in the portfolio?

Q: Hey Peter & Team,
Have approx 25% cash on the side and am waiting for something of value to appear.
I have been watching Whitecap closely and noticed today @$14.04 it is trading below it's 200 day moving average ($14.08) and considerably below it's 50 day moving average ($14.47)
At the same time on a technical basis it has been showing higher lows and higher highs since it's low point Jan 12.
Please provide advice regarding whether now would be a good time or not necessarily a good to take a 5% position and why you think as such?
The balance of my portfolio contains 7% in O&G. (TOU & BTE) and I recently put new U$ money into BP (20% of my US portfolio) @ $39.64.
As always, thanks for all you do
Gord
