Q: Hi, ATD has been quite a steady performer for years. Would you be comfortable starting a new position at current price ? If yes, would it be prudent to buy partially now and wait for the results to fill in the rest ? What is the growth trajectory for this co. and its stock, in your view ? Thank You

Q: Hello, Lumine shares have rallied almost 20%, since TD initiated coverage on Nov 14, with a BUY rating and $28 price target. Based on its present valuation and growth prospects (5-10 years), vis-a-vis, CSU/TOI, would you be comfortable increasing current position size of 1.75%, even after the run up ? Or would you suggest to add to 3.50% TOI weight ? ( CSU, already being a large weight ). Thank You
Q: Lumine stock has increased decently in price in the last month. Is it best to wait for a pullback or purchase now? Thanks

Q: Hello Peter,
Would you be a buyer in the cons. discretionary sector at this time? Any suggestions?
Also between ANF TJX and ATZ which would you prefer to buy at this time? Or would you not buy either ?
Regards
Rajiv

Q: Hi I am thinking it's time to sell BNS, would it be better to choose another bank or deploy funds to another sector to gain some growth & dividends for a long term holding? Suggestions on other stocks please.
Q: I own a couple of banks, SLF and MA in my financial allocation. Thinking of adding GSY or BN. I know there different in size, but GSY probably offers more growth.
Would you be comfortable adding GSY with a 3-5 year time commitment, or is BN the better choice?

Q: Hello 5i team,
You entered a position for NBLY of ~$34 in the growth portfolio. Since there was a tentative offer to go private of $20.50, what is the rationale to stay? Is it in anticipation that the offer would not go through and continue to hold going forward into the future?
It seems that there is no reason for this stock to ever go past $20.50 until this is finalized, or am I missing something here.
Thank You,
Andrew

Q: Could you comment on the timeliness of investing in NVEI at this time.

Q: Your impression on the issuer bid? One month ago, it was $40 and today, they offer $55. Weird timing, isn't it?

Q: Your growth portfolio has only compounded at ~3% per year since inception. Where would you say you've gone wrong and have you considered any changes to your portfolio management techniques or criteria for security selection in an attempt to course correct and improve performance moving forward?

Q: Hello,
My holding of Waste Connections has increased substantially in value. The stock price is slipping and there seem to be a number of concerns with debt and return on capital. Your detailed comments would be appreciated.
Are there some industrials with better future prospects? What industrials could WCN be replaced with and why would they be any better?
Thank you,
V

Q: I have been in and out of CSU a few times times the years (I should not have sold). What are the major risks that could face Constellation? I am looking at a buy and hold for 10 years. Thanks
Q: What makes the management call on LMN different than management calls that didn't work out as we hoped?
Q: Can you help further clarify your answer to Ian's question on high yield bonds? You mentioned you prefer an active strategy, wouldn't that translate to holding HYI in the Income Portfolio instead of the current passive XHY? Then again passive XHY has outperformed over 1,3, 5 years and since inception.
Q: Still looking into tax loss selling. The last few days have made me somewhat apprehensive, though. Things can shoot up fast. I have, unfortunately, fairly substantial losses in these three. Does 5i have any objections to selling, with the perspective of buying back later?
Thanks for your excellent advice

Q: Finally.... 1st Analyst coverage from RBC capital Markets
" Mr. Kwan became the first analyst to initiated coverage of Lumine Group Inc. (LMN-X), giving it a “buy” rating and $28 target, and Topicus.com Inc. (TOI-X) with a “hold” rating and $99 target. "
Any comments on above ratings/reports ?
They seem to support 5i thesis on both companies.
Thank You

Q: I bought GSY at its peak. Is it time to dollar cost average now or would you wait for the price to drop more?
How do you see the stock price move if interest rates stay stable until mid 2024?
Would you recommend different stocks which pay 3-5% dividend with room to grow 50% over the next 12 - 18 months,?
