Q: I was just looking at the fundamentals provided by my on-line service CIBC Investors Edge for this company: when I look at EPS last 4 Qt it shows just over $5.00; yet, on a TTM EPS basis it shows -300%+ growth, debt to equity over 3X and negative ROE. How can you make $5.00 per share and have negative ROE: especially, when they have been making money and on a cash basis generating a ton of cash? What am I missing and is this a good stock to hold for a recovery??

Q: Peter; Would DBO be a natural fit for either CGX or IMAX? Thanks.Rod
Q: I have a full position (5%)in BCE, would it make sense at this time to sell all or reduce this position and take a position in KXS?

Q: Which of these two would you pick, and could you explain why.
Thanks Peter.
Thanks Peter.
Q: There seems to be no limit to the share price decline of BOS. I don't own it but have been watching. Does it now represent both good value and a growth opportunity? I know you don't like buying into negative momentum. For someone with room in their portfolio to add a couple of growth names is BOS a good place to put new money today or would you rather stick with a more positive momentum play like KXS?
Q: could you please explain how to read this information on CXR:
http://shortsqueeze.com/shortinterest/stock/CXRX.htm
I do understand the terms but what conclusions can one take from this if any? I am long on this stock.

Q: Good Morning Peter, Ryan, and Team,
Presently I have a full weighting of Parkland Fuel (PKI-TSX) in an income oriented retirement account. Most of the other equity holdings in this account mirror your 5i Income Portfolio. I have been watching Superior Plus (SPB-TSX) for awhile and it appears to have bottomed with energy prices firming a bit. SPB looks to be a cheap stock even with the recent upward move in share price. Do you think owning PKI and SPB in the same income account makes any sense ??? Also if you were to assign a grade to SPB what would it be ??? PKI is presently a "B". Thank you for your sage insights. DL

Q: With the nice rise in the stock in the last few days, begs the question "Is it sustainable? Do you still see upside from here?
Thanks for all you do.

Q: I sure am glad I bought back into CXR a couple days ago. I actually thought that the earnings results today were not good as the Eps was a miss.
Your thoughts are appreciated as usual.

Q: Could you please comment on VNR's earnings. On the surface they appear a little disappointing compared to previous quarters. Thanks.
Q: I've had my eye on this one for a while. Too bad I did not buy when I came upon it? I tend not to buy small companies that are valued on growth because the landscape is littered with companies that fall faster then they rise when things do not go right. This comp. seems incredibly over valued to me: TTM PE of 27, FPE of 25, 7x book value. Even with an ROE of 20 & PEG ratio over one? It's EPS is very small - so, earning on a cash basis must be a fair bit higher. I'd like to buy - maybe? I prefer dividend growers as well. How liquid is the stock which is important to me because I like to hold good size positions. I did well with BAD & ACQ which were growth stocks: 3 x my money - so, I do like a bit of growth.
Q: What is your view on the 1st quarter's results?
Q: Both companies reported recently and a commonality between the two was that the margins were slimmer. Is this the result of competition within the industry, meaning that the infrastructure story may be a bit overblown, weakness still in the industrial sector (Bird Construction sales declined here as well), from the Canadian dollar strengthening last quarter or is this simply life in the construction industry and we should stay the course?

Q: Hi 5i, what do you think about today's price levels for an entry point? Is there significant upside potential from here?
Q: Could you please rate these stocks as to A) growth potential and B) risk level. Thanx Robbie
Q: I've been trying to learn more about D-Box's revenue model, particularly on the entertainment side, and I'm hoping you can provide some insight. When screens sign on and motion systems are installed, to what extent are the D-Box revenues one-time (i.e. to install) versus recurring (i.e. per patron)? Thanks.
Q: Can I have your comments on todays development on Gamehost and WCP

Q: Hi! I did some spring cleaning and had to pick between drt and pur. The two were small positions and I ended selling pur and adding a bit to drt. In hindsight it looks like I should have done the opposite. If pur looks better now I can still make the change if you suggest so. Thx, Dominic
Q: Given today's earnings report, growth, and the company update; at what price (or P/E) would you consider the risk to be so small as to be insignificant. Even if the strategic alternatives do not work out and even if the shorts persist, is there an argument to be made to a Mr Ackman against backing up his truck.
Q: Can you please comment on earnings for AVO, SYZ and WSP. Disrequard if you have already answered previously before getting to my question.
Thank you
