Q: Is this still a strong hold ... or has it deteriorated to a tepid one? Everything seems a bit lacklustre on its future, judging from the recent replies you've made to other members. Perhaps I'm misinterpreting, but your answer to Colum on Mar 1st suggested, in a roundabout way, that "it's time to dump this loser". I'm down 26% and wonder what it would take to inject some life into this company?

Q: The contract with Chinese Company was for $ 1,100,000.00 to build 37 lifts. This works out to $ 30,000.00 per lift. Seems cheap to me.Is this a lost leader for future business in China. China will be a huge market for SIS. I really like the deal. Your thoughts please. Sis is projecting revenue growth of 19.1 % and Ebitda growth of 30 %.How much of their production comes from China ? Q: Hi 5i Team,
I would like to take some money out of a savings account and have it accumulate dividends in my TFSA over a 5 year time period (I will need it at that time). I was wondering in the income portfolio, which of the ETFs/stocks would be the least volatile or the smallest of price movement that pays a good dividend over this amount of time?

Q: Like many of your customers, I am on a learning curve thanks to the many facets of your services.

My question is what would the smart "investor" do with ITC?

I bought the stock recently and very quickly am down 16%.

Should I not have bought it .... given that it was close to its high; and waited for it to comeback down as it has now?

Just hold?

Buy more?

I am OK with the risks and volatility of this kind of company, but the size of the decrease is concerning.

Q: Good morning.
My questions in pertaining these 2 high risk and volatile stocks that I currently hold: Photon Control--pho (4% position) and Synergy Pharmaceutical--sgyp (7% position). Both have come down and I was wondering if you would add to each. I have somewhat of high risk, high potential reward tolerance and 1 to 2 yr wait and see timeline. Thx

Q: My percentage market allocation presently in Altus, Kinaxis, and Open Text are 4.41%, 7.38%, and 3.85% respectively. Perhaps I'm top heavy in Tech stocks, though I plan to boost OTEX to a full position down the road. Would it make sense to sell AIF and replace it with either GUD or CRH since I hold no medical stocks at this time? You have helped my analytical skills tremendously, though I'm not good as digesting financial statements.
