Q: Hi Peter and Team,

Great article in Saturday's Financial Post, Peter!

As a replacement for DH in a TFSA, and disregarding sector, which one of the above three stocks would you buy today? I'm thinking that the recent resignation of PHO's CEO and the subsequent 6.71% decline in the share price presents a buying opportunity, but as always, I value your advice and recommendations. (We already own two of the stocks in your article - GSY and ZCL. Many thanks for that!)

Q: Hello,

Curious about inside ownership with these two companies. Both have been on a tear for a while, and wondering at what point would a larger company look at buying these up for their growth potential. Would you believe they are takeover candidates or does some characteristic of each make that unlikely?

Regards,

Robert

Q: With the recent changes to the balanced equity portfolio is it now tech heavy or are you considering CLS Consumer Cyclical (Discretionary) to replace CGX because it is a hardware based business and not software?

Thank you.

Q: Good morning 5i Team,

I'm interested to buy a position in CCL B. Please advise if the stock will continue to grow in the next few years. Is it better to buy before the split or after the split in May this year? Is it better to buy the A or B shares? I note the PE is high! What is your opinion on management, ,divident growth, momentum and valuation?

Thank you!
Rossana.

Q: Hi Peter and Team,
In your latest newsletter you mentioned to trim SIS back down to 5%. I have a very small position and hesitated on adding to it because it kept moving up and I thought I had missed my opportunity. I'm now up 150% which represents 2.7% of my portfolio (thanks for that and I'm now kicking myself for not taking a full position).
Is it too late to top it up to 5% now?

Thanks for this great service.
Rob

Q: Hi, I am new to the 5i community and also investing, I've been buying stocks for over a year now but am unsure of what exactly I am doing asides from following previous trends. I would like to follow one of your portfolios but am curious as to how I keep it balanced while adding cash bi-weekly and if trying to keep up with your positions recommended in the portfolio. Without paying tons on commission. Any tips?

Thanks

Q: Hi there,

I follow the BE portfolio fairly closely and will be adding positions in CLS and GUD shortly. I can purchase them in either an RRSP or a cash account as my TFSA is already maxed out with growth names in them. Would the two names be better held in an RRSP or in a cash account for optimal tax efficiencies?

Thanks for your great services!

Q: The pop in SP of MX in the last two days seems to be solely driven by the majority shareholder's publicly expressed dissatisfaction with its management. I seem to recall a similar "public spat" on IBM and it did not seem to achieve any change in that company. Management being "called out" by shareholders in those cases would only feel resentment and would seldom give into those demands - just human nature I guess.

Do you feel this is heading the same way, or would it lead to the demanded changes in MX? I see that the SP chart of MX has been escalating of late so perhaps this publicly expressed dissatisfaction is the catalyse that may proper MX to the next level.

Love to have your view on this matter. Thanks.
