Q: Good afternoon 5i,
I recently sold AW.UN in my RRIF as I am trying to limit the non-portfolio holdings. Could you recommend a replacement from the income portfolio or should I just buy it back? Already hold most of the Income Portfolio holdings but willing to sell in other accounts to insert in RRIF.Thanks for the always helpful advice.

Q: GUD.GUD is pretty low today, but so is ENDO. Time may be appropriate for GUD to make an offer ?

Q: I am looking over my portfolio and am overweight tech - like many, I suspect. Kinaxis is one of your favourites and in the balanced portfolio, which is why I own it. Is it not very, very expensive, though? The G&M has it with a forward PE of 85, and a PEG of 3.11. By way of comparison, Facebook is at 30.5 with a PEG of 1.2.

Q: ATD.B has been flat for some time. I have a very substantial profit in this stock and it occupies 6.5% of my RRSP. I am considering a partial sell of ATD.B and a small buy of CCL.B, DOL, or BYD.UN. Is this a reasonable tactic or should I avoid chasing these 'hot" winners and be a little more patient? Joe

Q: Hello team,
I hold positions in VIG, VE ZQQ and CDZ. The ETF portfolio reads "trim 4% VIG/IWO and initiate VGT/XLY, 2.5% VE and 1% CDZ. Should I add to XQQ instead of initiating VGT?

I am thinking about adding to my position in Spin Master. Stock is is dropping a little, with slightly higher volume/erratic trading. Q: I am just getting started (complete newb). I listened to the Building wealth interview podcasts. I would like to invest ~$20k now, via TFSA, then perhaps invest a monthly sum (say $1k). With a commission fee of $10 per trade, how would you recommend approaching this? Would you buy 20 different holdings of one of your model portfolios at ~$1000 each? What would you do with the monthly sum? (I was thinking the income portfolio since I may need to redraw the funds in ~5 years to buyout a business partner).

I feel this question should already have an answer somewhere but I can't find it - perhaps you could link the answer?

Q: Alain Bouchard claimed this week that the proposed minimum wage raise in Ontario will result in store closings in this province. (Rossy family said it would not impact DOL) Should I be bothered by this comment ? It is also stagnant for the last year or so. Is it time to replace this stock ? More DOL perhaps ?
