Q: Would you be comfortable with a 3% position at this time (new position) or should I wait until it settles a bit ? Also, can you please comment on the payout ratio, sustainability of the dividend and the quality of the management team. Will the current share price make it be harder for them to make new profitable acquisitions ? Thank you.

Q: TV entered into an agreement with Puma on March 16 at a cost of $500,000. This is not that much money but is this a beneficial agreement for TV & its shareholders? It appears that the strike price for the shares & warrants is quite low but there may be more positive facts & conditions that have not yet been released. Is TV getting a good deal for this agreement or is so small it is inconsequential? Thanks as always,
Dave

Q: Hello Peter / Ryan and Team,

I have the model balanced portfolio other than KL for AEM, a tiny position in MG, and am still missing Teck.B. My thoughts for new money is to either get MG up to a proper position size (approx 4%) or to buy Teck.b for a 3% position.

What are the pros and cons of each. Thanks for all your hard work.

Q: I have been researching Crius in great depth and I cannot find the cause of the price freefall. I am beginning to think there Crius might be impacted by the new Federal Energy Regulatory Commission guidelines on pipeline and electricity transmission line profits. Still, it seems a stretch the Commission would destroy an industry.
Can you help a drowning investor?
With great appreciation.

Q: Good morning 5i
Missing from my notes is the reason for opening a position in crius energy. I thought it was on a positive comment or portfolio inclusion at 5i. But I can find neither direct reference.

Would you please remind me of the attractiveness of kwh ......recognizing this is not a fortis or Brookfield size/risk type company.

What is it that is not working and dragging the stock price down?

Thanks
Dave

Q: Hi Peter, bought more GUD today and have a quick curiosity question on what they do with all the cash reserves while they wait. It looks like ~$788M vs 142.8M shares = ~$5.52/share. I'm assuming that with that magnitude of funds they'd get a pretty decent rate/month; but is that what they do ? Also, what size ($) of company would/could they target with the amount of cash they have ? And, is the thought that any purchase would be NA based or does that matter ? Thanks.
