Q: Good Morning any thoughts about the news this morning in regards to the CRA tax re-assement? Looks like CRA and QRA are challenging the sale of the voucher back in 2014 and concluded that GUD owes $42MM. Gud plans on appealing this, any thoughts on this issue?
Thanks

Q: The GUD investing thesis is largely based on management including past success with Paladin. Paladin was certainly a well run company and created lots of value for shareholders so credit to management is not misplaced. But, do you think that the ultimate success with Paladin was more a function of incredibly lucky timing to have been taken out during a really crazy pharma cycle? In other words, how much credit goes to management and how much goes to a once in a generation crazy pharma cycle?
Q: Hi Ryan any shorts on this it seems under a lot of down ward pressure

Q: Well again getting into a mining stock is killing my portfolio. I bought TV ONLY ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO AT $1.11 only to see it now at .81. Down almost five grand in that short a period of time. Very frustrating. I don’t want to hold for three years HOPING to get back to even. If YOU owned running a portfolio would you take the rest of the money that is left and RUN somewhere else. It is in my RRSP so no tax implication.
Q: Good day...I have great respect for your management of the balanced portfolio..my question is the addition of tsgi at a 4% position...this seems out of the ordinary for the way you run this portfolio...generally I have noticed that you start with a 2% position and then allow it to grow...I know you have a valid reason and I am asking to advance my knowledge of trading...thanks for your expert management....Gene
Q: I think looking at chart at $ 16.00 SIS is a buy. When do they report next eps. I see ACORN ads on TV . Same product Chair Lift. I believe Acorn is a UK Company. Your thoughts pleas. RAK

Q: Howdy!
I am slowly repositioning the Canadian equity portion of my RRSP portfolio to emulate your Balanced Equity Portfolio.
About 27% of my portfolio is sitting on cash right now; I do not yet own the listed companies - Are they all good to buy today? Or please rank them in order of value for purchase today versus perhaps holding off a quarter or two.
Thank you

Q: I understand the logic of "getting paid while you wait" but in this particular instance, what am I waiting for? I am now off 30%. Do you actually see this one recovering or is negative momentum going to take it down.

Q: Hi, Trevali is very close to it’s 52 week low. I’m wondering if there is something wrong with the stock? Has it just fallen out of favour or is there good reason for the downturn? If you are still recommending it I am thinking of taking a full position. If not, can you recommend another mining stock with good growth prospects. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Q: Is COV's wound healing technology exclusive to them by patent? Is this their competitive edge?

Q: Hi 5i! This question is for an educational purposes, as I'm always trying to better my humble valuation skills. Unfortunately, I can't find the quote in the question to confirm my saying but here goes anyway: You have recently (I'm pretty sure!?!) qualified the shares of TSGI as being cheap. On what metrics do you base your evaluation. I see that a PE of 18ish for a growth stock like TSGI is on the cheap side. Are there any other metrics?
Many thanks!
PS.: I already own a full position in TSGI that I bought a couple of years ago. No intention to buy more or sell any time soon.

Q: I'm thinking of buying one or both of these companies.
Is one more attractive than the other on valuation?
