Q: I have a question regarding SIS's dividend. Maybe I am mistaken, but most ''growth by acquisitions'' type of companies usually either pay a small dividend or no dividend at all. CSU, ATD or GUD/Paladin come to mind. The logic being that more value is created by investing the money than giving back directly to shareholders. SIS, on the other hand, pays an high dividend that has been growing quite rapidly in the last year. What is your opinion on this? Have you ever asked them why they pay this amount of dividend or have they ever explained it? I understand they usually sound quite confident in the future but still, I am curious.

Thank you!

Q: Do you see connection between this stock hitting new 52 day low two days in a row and election rhetoric by opposition parties to lower hydro bills by repurchasing shares sold by liberals or firing current CEO. Can Avista merger be stopped which I believe has already been approved by regulators. Do you still recommend Hydro One shares to income oriented investor.
Best regards,
Harold

Q: Rager just announced Q1 earnings with boe/d production averaging more than 24k/d and provided more details on East Duvernay well #1 normalized production rates.

Please share your opinion on the news. Looks like shares can move up on Duvernay results once analysts re-build models to include that acreage and additional drilling inventory.

I'm hoping RRX decides to stay one unit with the Viking cash flows paying for the Duvernay drilling, especially in this environment of strengthening commodity prices.

Q: I bought equal positions of SIS and CCL.B, which are in your balanced portfolio August 2017. Since then SIS is up 24% and CCL.B is up 12%. It seems that there is a lot more growth potential in SIS, so therefore I am considering selling CCL.B and adding proceeds to SIS. Would you agree with this trade? Or would you recommend another stock to add to with my CCL.B proceeds for better growth and momentum?

Q: Hi, Could you give 3 small cap and 3 mid cap recommendations for me to look at on the tsx. I'm looking for good management with a good balance sheet. Something with some risk is ok provided the possibility for good growth is there.
Thanks.

Q: Good Morning Peter, Ryan, and Team,
One of my portfolios closely tracks the Balanced Equity Portfolio holdings. However I have substituted STN for WSP thinking that STN will get it going at some point. Also I have split the allocation to energy producers between WCP and PEY so that I have light oil as well as gas exposure. I would appreciate your expert opinion of these substitutions. Thank you very much. DL
