Q: Greetings 5i

In my TFSA I have enjoyed a nice run with PHO. I am thinking of selling my position and using the funds to buy TOY. My reasoning is that TOY is larger and thus more stable.

I am interested in taking less risk in my TFSA. I am not concerned with the balance allocation of the portfolio as my PHO is not a high weighting.

Your insights are always valuable

Thanks

Peter

Q: Since buying COV, I've started receiving regular emails such as these 2 yesterday:
"Covalon Announces Another Milestone Quarterly Profit on Excellent Third Quarter Financial Results"

"Covalon's excellent earnings listed on Globe and Mail small cap movers list"

I have never received these types of emails on this regular of a basis from other companies that I own. Should I be concerned about the promotional nature here?

Q: I find the company information that you added recently to be very useful in my analysis, however sometimes information that was there is no longer available. For example when I previously looked at ATD.B the site contained information on analysts projected earnings and projected share prices. Today the earnings estimates are not available and the stock price estimates have been replaced by measures of analysts buy conviction. Is this a temporary change until information is available? Also do you have an estimate for the forward earnings?
Thanks.

Q: I am considering these two stocks for my wife's RRSP. It is fairly diversified with 21 stocks and most sectors but only A&W Royalties Fund in the consumer sector. I like PBH because it is more defensive but QSR has a better yield. In the past I have concentrated on income but am trying to add more growth to the portfolio. What are your thoughts on these two? Is there another consumer oriented stock you would suggest instead?

Q: Just a comment to add to your comments about NFI in a previous question.
While the 40 electric busses ordered by Montreal & Laval may not be significant as compared to the 4,000 they have sold in the last 12 months,
the more important thing is breaking into the Quebec market (probably the
2nd largest market in Canada next to Toronto/Ontario). Lets face it Quebec is notorious for paying whatever price to support Quebec companies. Should these buses perform well it could be very beneficial to NFI.

Q: Hi Team,

It would be nice to have a column in the Portfolio report indicating a recommended price range for buying any stock for new money. The "Start Price" column shows the price when 5i added the stock to the portfolio which could have been a long time ago and the current valuation of the stock may be very high in terms of price. Alternatively if the stock is in the portfolio report does it mean it is always a buy recommendation ?

Appreciate all the work done by 5i Team.

Thanks
Ninad
