Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Just a follow up to my question about the drop in Alaris today. So an analyst at NA drops his/her target price and the stock drops 10%? Was there any specific reasoning behind the downgrade and where would an investor get that information? If there is no fundamental change to the companies business, why would investors sell out of their positions? I have heard portfolio managers comment that they don't pay any attention to "price targets" and base their decisions on their own analysis and the fundamentals of each company they invest in. As you have said before, there are always 2 sides to each trade but it seems a lot of people react to an opinion and sell before they done any checking. Your comments please.

Q: Thanks to portolio analytics I am cleaning up my portfolio. I am looking at consolidating PHO and TSGI into one position. Which would you keep? Very long time horizon.

Also looking at adding to either DOO or TOY in our TFSA. which do you prefer?

Q: Hi Ryan i note that you hold nwc in your income portfolio as do I .
My research is starting to indicate a value trap.
Then amount of volume of business that amazon is doing in the high North is increasing ten fold year over year to the point that post office are looking more like grocery warehouse.
Nwc return and sales are dropping faster than once thought.
I have reduced my position my half and am currently considering exiting in full.
It is further exasperated further when grocers in the south start getting government handouts .The competitiveness edge of the high north is disappearing
Kind regards
Stan

Q: I continue to be concerned about the market and corrections and being somewhat more defensive in my holdings. ATD.B has been held at about 3% of my total portfolio for about 3 years and it has met my expectations. Nevertheless, I realize I am under-diversified in the consumer staples sector. Would selling my ATD.B and buying XST, perhaps to a 5% level, be wise, in your opinion, or just me letting anxiety leading me to some 'churning'. I'm a senior-plus so at a stage of withdrawing from my accounts for some income.
Thanks for your input and forgive the wordiness.

Q: I have received material from Methanex from the current management/Board as well as the dissident shareholders who wish to place 4 new Board members on the Board. What would you recommend to do in this case, vote with the current management/Board, or vote to replace some of the current Board with the 4 new nominees? I only have a small position in MX.
