Q: I realize these are very different stocks, but I hold both and want to sell one of them. Which has the best:
- management,
- balance sheet,
- prospects over both the short term and long term
- the best relative valuation?
Thanks.
Jim

Q: Which would you choose to add a conservative nature to a senior's portfolio, AQN or AW.UN.ca and why? I note AQN is not in any model portfolio and yet its performance seems better than that of AW.UN and with less volatility.

Q: I own shares of MX and down significantly on this stock. From what I understand, a big part of the drop can be attributed to largest shareholder M&G Investments selling 3% of company shares in August - here is their letter to MX shareholders: https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/m-amp-g-investments-sends-letter-to-methanex-shareholders-868146646.html
What do you think of this situation? Would you recommend MX as a 3-5 years hold or should I sell and take a loss?

Q: Down a lot on TSGI and saw in your email blast and that you dropped TSGI from one of your portfolios, but I've not sold yet as I wanted to ask a couple of a questions about their recent earnings report. For the 3 months ending June/19, adjusted earnings were $0.48/share. (1) What was the expectation for earnings? (2) Is this earning miss that bad given that revenues and the number of shares outstanding has increased by over 50%? Thank you as always for your great work and responses.

Q: Hi Peter and 5i team,
The impact of low interest rates is most acute in the life insurance industry. We have shares of Sun Life which has done well this past year. Would it not be prudent to sell now and lock in profits? What about switching to a consumer staple stock? What is your favourite in this sector for growth?
Thank you for your opinion.
