Q: Hello 5i team,
I have a question in terms of buying the dips for Gildan Activewear Inc. I initially bought roughly a half position around the time you issued the buy recommendation for GIL at $49.33. Since the poor recent quarter and guidance downwards for the next year, the stock has dropped to $34.26 as I write this.

It seems this is purely market driven as appose to company fault. If I plan to hold this long term (~5 years), would it be a good idea to add to my current position? I know you are not a fan of averaging down, but isn't buying the dip the same thing?

Q: If you didn’t have a position in MX right now would you start one now after their quarterly results, ...please explain why or why not?
FYI I am looking for growth and I need a holding in this sector and have at least a 5 year time horizon. If you have other suggestions that would be great also.

Q: Hi, What's your take on BCE qurater ? Looks like the results were in line with estimates and subscribers addition were much higher than expected. Don't understand why stock is lower. Based on results/outlook, is it safe to top up the present 4% position to 5% at these levels, for income and some growth ? Thanks

Q: In Maple Leaf's news release, they mention the Chinese import ban of Canadian pork affecting their bottom line. It sound's like they export pork to China. I hold PBH and would like to similarily understand the mechanics of how China's pork issue may affect PBH. Does PBH export pork products to China that would be subject to a ban? On the other hand, is it possible that lower North American pork prices could be positive to PBH as an input cost? Thanks.
