Q: my purchase of csu stock settled jan 8. would I still receive Topicus shares?
Q: Hi folks, waited for tax loss season and bought full position in Knight for my TFSA . What significance, if any, does..."Signed a new exclusive distribution agreement with Gilead for the continued commercialization of AmBisome in Brazil, effective Jan. 1, 2021.", have for Knight. The potentials with Knight seem pretty good...even if they work at a snail's pace. Overall opinion on company into 2021. Thanks as always, jb Piedmont QC
Q: It looks like CSU has paid a dividend of "topicus.com inc svs" shares - at least they've popped up in my brokerage account. Would you please fill me in on what has happened.
Q: I'm using your growth portfolio and would like to add some larger cap exposure/hedge using your balanced portfolio. What I'm thinking is to take one position from the balanced portfolio in each sector that your growth portfolio participates at a 5% position. Would you tell me which names you would use from the balanced portfolio and what percent you would suggest?
Q: Looking at its stock price chart NFI turned the corner late last year and is making steady progress upward. How do you assess it going forward?
Q: Mainly follow your balanced portfolio. Should I sell AQN and buy BEP.UN . As well would you purchase Aritzia and AC today. As well give me 3 growth names for the next year.

Q: Would you be comfortable buying BYD for a long-term hold at today's levels? Do you believe in it as must-own growth stock? Thanks.
*edit:. Not a must-own company, rather, a great company to own for a long-term hold as part of a diversified portfolio. Thanks.

Q: On the most recent BI model portfolio Boyd gets an A- rating. The most recent report I could find on this company is from Jan 2019 with a B+ rating. Is there a more recent report that I'm missing and could you post a link?
Thanks
Thanks

Q: I would like to add a few positions from your portfolios. I have a relatively short horizon. Can you please:
- list the names in your portfolios that are cross listed between USD and CAD?
- Can you please list them in order of your preference for buying today?
- And to help me not make any mistakes, can you please include the exact tickers in NYSE and TSX?

Q: The other day under the CSU newsfeed and story came out about the subsidiary Harris bulking up. Maybe because of Topicus I am paying more attention but: Is this a way for CSU to indicate a further potential spinout? I was thinking of selling some CSU (for reasons you suggested others were earlier today) but then again (if reasoned true) this seems an extraordinary opportunity to let them engineer further upside for the stock owner. Is this a reasonable position to take?
Q: What 3 cdn stocks in your portfolios provide the best long term value right now. I am growth oriented and would likely just add to exisiting positions.
Q: Stock seems to be on steady daily decline last few weeks and yet, to my knowledge, no news and market doing well overall during this period.
Any info or simply profit taking?
thanks

Q: After a fairly large run up, is ECN still considered cheap?
Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide some fundamentals for Xebec Absorption including P/E, cash on hand and cash flow, debt, insider ownership and anything else you think is particularly important. The stock has risen so quickly that I am not sure whether the fundamentals justify it or it has simply become a 'must own' stock for investors. Do you feel the growth potential is still there. I am having some difficulty trying to decide if I should sell a portion of my holdings or hold on for a longer term.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: I was surprised to see you quote ENB as one of your top Canadian dividend picks in a recent question.
I am troubled by the "low" increase in dividend growth this past quarter. Please help me interpret this from a numbers (earnings, cash flow, future growth) point of view that would reassure me that it deserves to be amongst your top Canadian dividend picks.
thanks
Ernie

Q: I was going to add some more BAM on this recent pullback but I noticed that you categorize it as falling within the "financials" sector. I'm already overweight financials so that gave me pause. But it strikes me that BAM is more infrastructure/industrial/real estate, no?
Thanks
Robert

Q: What is your opinion of magna and its potential for growth. Would you be a buyer at its current price.
Q: Hi, Shopify has puled back to $1375. You had indicated that it has support around $1350 - $1400 level. Is it reasonably safe to add to an existing position around here ( Recent high $1650 ), or wait for further decline in price? Thanks
