Q: Hi team,
Real has been a falling knife since the last earnings release. I own it in 2 different accounts and are down 20-30% on them.Should I continue to hold out for better days, or should I sell one of my positions and replace it with something else? My plan was to hold for long term as it seems like a good company with good growth prospects. If you do suggest selling part of my position , what would be your top stock to buy today either US or cnd for growth to replace it with ? Thanks
Shane

Q: I bought BCI on April 18 2018. We're coming up to 3 years of zero performance in a very bullish (record highs) market.
If after 3 years nothing has happened plus the online eye care market is booming (Warby Parker, etc) do you see any reason in the not too distant future of this stock showing any significant upside?
Thanks
Sheldon

Q: Please comment on XBC's acq of Hygear for $65.2m cash plus 10.3m shares of XBC @$6.03 per share. Also on the $100m Bought Deal & $50m private placement with CDPQ--what is the price? Txs for u usual great services 7 views
Q: Acquisition of HyGear and a $100 million bought deal announced...thoughts?
I see there is a bought deal offering and also a private placement. Does this mean some shares will be sold to the public and some will be bought privately? With the bought deal price of $5.80, do you think the share price drops this much?
Would you add, hold or sell on this news?

Q: The cash position in the Growth Portfolio is just over 10%. This seems unusually high: please explain your rationale. Thx
Q: Hi Peter, re: your reply to Jamie re: GUD; why will earnings fall next year ? Aren't they currently close to zero ? Shouldn't the new mfg ability increase earnings ?
This is currently the sole loser in my portfolio (as I'm getting good at cutting losses before they get worse) but like many I've held on it to doggedly for years despite its chart since I really want Jonathan G to do well. There's definitely a lesson in that. Thanks, Paul

Q: Any comment on People’s three acquisitions, and your outlook on the company going forward?
Q: Hi Gents,
Wondering if you could speak to the value of GUD shares.
My calculations are that there is $3.31/sh in cash, which at Friday's price of $5.29, leaves $1.98 for the rest of company.
At $1.98 the company ex cash is worth about $260M. My modeling shows a forward P/E ex cash below 8x. Plus you get the potential of another game-changing acquisition which would likely be very accretive.
What am I missing here at $5.30/sh??

Thanks, Tim.
Thanks, Tim.
Q: Thank you for this recommendation years ago. Stay safe
Q: One of your portfolio stocks I do not own. I am impressed with their purchase and the possibilities as a result. I am mostly comfortable with the price but looking for a little reassurance, or not, as to buying a half position today.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I am deploying a lump sum and I had an initial 1% position if LSPD bought at $56 in middle of November. I am up close to 40%. I know they signed a new deal in the U.S. yesterday and there's good momentum. Should I take my quick profits or let the value of the stock build. I originally was planning to build a 3% in LSPD over time. Its tough given the valuation is so high, but may go higher or may be much lower in a correction.
Thanks,
Jason
Thanks,
Jason
