Q: Would you see today’s price share drop as a buying opportunity or would you wait for volatility to settle down?

Q: Like 5i, I have held Enbridge for quite sometime. Looking back to 2014, Enbridge has gone nowhere and depending on the purchased price, e.g. 5i's case, in the negative. As explained to Paul a week ago Dividend is great, still very safe, etc. Now with the latest weak quarter, all the political, environmental hoopla; could you explain the benefits, even in an income portfolio of why Enbridge should be retained.
Thank You, Stephen S

Q: 5i's Growth Portfolio has a position in XBC, maybe that's what a member was referring to? It has done extremely well, another great position by your team.
Q: Hello Peter,
I was expecting Xebec to surge somewhat after moving to tsx. The recent news on the company is positive (hydrogen strategy in UK), and i dont see any negative news. Any idea why the stock is not moving much or are investors taking profits and moving elsewhere?

Q: impact insurance company was profitable recently in part from lower auto claims due to diminished driving. anecdotal reports also of small collision centres across Canada hurting due to less driving. these 2 factors would seem to favour BYD. in a post pandemic world. can you provide BYD'S current P/E price /sales. . ev/ebida price/book debt/equity etc . to say its historical metrics for the last 5years. thanks Richard
Q: Good morning,
Why has this new issue had such a huge jump in the last few trading sessions? I don't see much for news to account for this, I was buying it at lower levels 58-61 would like to get more but wondering if I should hold off? Time frame long held in TFSA. Thanks

Q: hello 5i:
I understand you look favorably upon LNF, looking back at questions asked and the weighting in the Income portfolio. But, looking at Operating Cash Flows: I see $2.51 for 2019, estimates of 3.93 for 2020 and a deceleration to $1.96 for 2021. That is a big drop, and should mean that the stock is currently, at best fairly valued and at worst, going to see a large reduction. Can you comment please, as I am interested in adding the company.
thanks
Paul L

Q: I have WAY too much Shopify in my TFSA only because I hate giving up on a winner! I bought some at under $200 but my average is $534. I know you like it and everywhere I look it's rated as a buy so it could fall a fair way before I'd pull the plug . Do you think it's wise to still sell some and if so can you suggest something to buy in my TFSA for a 5-7year hold.
