Q: This is a question about transferring GSY from my growth portfolio to my balanced portfolio. Both portfolio's are balanced and diversified. (I also have an income portfolio.) GSY is now more than 10% weight in my growth portfolio. And the balanced portfolio is 3 times plus the size of my growth portfolio. Transferring GSY from growth to balanced would mean not having to trim GSY....and my inclination to do this transfer stems from the recent move of SHOP from growth to balance, as I think GSY is now "mature". What say you about this transfer idea?.........Tom

Q: I sold my shares on SHOP the day before its earnings release which turned out to be a good move, and I lost my LSPD after its earnings to a stop loss at $90. I'm thinking that if I want to get back into one of them that LSPD would be preferred at this time because it will benefit from the re-opening trade, particularly restaurants, whereas re-opening will be of little benefit to SHOP. Do you agree?

Q: Hi 5i,
In the company reports you have a graph with Blue and Brown lines. What do they signify? In the recent DND report the Blue line is 80.32 and the Brown line is 43.98.
Thanks for the help.

Q: Thanks for your response to my previous query regarding validations for BEPC. I am aware of how the stock has done and management quality. What I was hoping for were some metrics , growth rates, revenue, earnings , etc that you see going forward that would provide some basis for evaluation of the shares. Also some comparison with other companies in the same sector based on similar parameters would be helpful. Would appreciate your comments and input please to the extent you feel is reasonable. Thanks

Q: Hi Team,
Your member question/s policy has been change ? As I see too many members ask questions of 2,4,6 or even 10 stock questions and looks like they use this service as "personal portfolio manager", your answer only good to that member only and do not benefit other members at all. It feels like waste of time to go through the question section these day !
I sure hope you goes back to your original policy - one stock per question - to the benefit of all members.
Thank you as always,
One of the starting members,
Tak

Q: For New money to initiate positions which 5 stocks in each of the portfolios would you recommend investing. On a related note, is there a reason you don’t put buy or hold or buy up to prices in any of the portfolios, or is your stance if it is in there it is a buy regardless of how much a stock may have run up since it was originally recommended.

Q: I have a held 4.7% position in Enbridge for 5yrs+, the average dividend yield over the period is 5.52% it will generate 5k in income for us this year. I would like to continue to hold all things being equal and the dividend not under serious risk. It would seem to me to keep the company strong they have to make a bigger push into renewable energy if this low carbon world is the future. Can you comment if you see Enbridge taking part this transition on the scale that's necessary and still keep the dividend reasonably secure.

Q: BAM intends a spin out of the reinsurance business in the first half of this year, will this be similar to the 1 for 9 split that we had when BIP.un created BIPC, or is this a whole new division, do you know what investors can expect and is this good for BAM over the long haul.

Q: Now that the financing of the proposed buyout of CRH is confirmed I was expecting that WELL's stock would stabilize. Could it be that the threat of class actions on behalf of current CRH holders may have to do with the continuous fall of WELL ? Is there anything else but just profit taking on WELL after their spectacular run in 2020?
Thank you for your insight.

Q: Going through all your portfolios looking for a high(er) growth stock with a dividend >1 that I don't already own. Can you please rate the following on a scale of 1-10 (1 being low) for both growth and risk over the next 12-18 months: MG, SLF, PKI, TFI, CCL, PLC, GSY, OTEX. (I note that all but SLF are currently rated 'strong buy'.) And if you have two clear favourites in the preceding list, I would appreciate those being noted separately. Thank you.
