Q: Did the federal government's stake in AC today (Apr 13) result in a dilution (I mean, it must have) and if so, was it material ? Also, shares today closed slightly below flat-- why wasn't the gov't "bailout" viewed as a plus for share price?

Q: with goeasys announced deal today which is accretive immediately when it closes in the 2nd quarter, upsizing of its fund raise, announcement of 1st quarter prelim results which were strong,, plus huge increase in gsy size i thought the stock would open about 135, instead its down a buck as of this writing which is nothing in the grand scheme of things, just curious as to why-is it because of stock dilution.dave
Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide an update on the fundamentals of GSY and your opinion as a buy at today's price. Also having checked the INK Insider Report there seems to have been a lot of selling. Could you comment on this as well as total insider holdings. I know that GSY is in the business of lending money but does it also have debt and if so then is it a manageable amount.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Lots of chatter about them getting listed on the Nasdaq. Do you know why it's taking so long and do you anticipate high investor interest?

Q: Good morning and thank you for your great service. My question is regarding your portfolios. I have a considerable amount of cash to invest and as I'm nearing retirement would like to lower my risk. I am thinking of investing approximately 50% in the stocks in your income portfolio. My specific question is regarding the individual stocks in the portfolio, are there any stocks in the income portfolio that you would not recommend buying at this time?
Thanks you,
Kevin
Thanks you,
Kevin
Q: Hi There,
I know you guys have (correctly) been bullish on goeasy in recent years. What do you think about the acquisition of Lendcare that they announced today? How does this improve their business and what do you think of their future prospects post-acquisition?

Q: Hi.
I bought GSY last year March - April when “the baby was being thrown out with the bath water”. My average cost was about $30. I sold at around $100. After I sold , I realized I did the most foolish thing. I didn’t need to sell , so why did I, was the question that kept bugging me. I sometimes can’t fathom why I do foolish things with my stocks. I told myself it’s not the end of the world and I can still buy the stock at around $127.( today’s price-April 9th). This time i Intend to hold for at least 5 years, or even longer. What are your thoughts on GSY over the next 3-5 years?
Thanks ,

Q: Looks like the Dollarama boys are selling again. The insider selling is now a consistent theme, even the son Neil (President) participates each round. I understand they still own a lot of stock but this constant selling doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling particularly when coupled with its anemic performance over the last 3 years. I've enjoyed holding thru the last 7 or 8 years but I'm now selling the same % they do each round and adding to my long term positions in COST and HD. Is 5i still positive on Dollarama?

Q: Hello, we have a 1.5% position in Topicus ( spin off shares and some addition around $62 ). Share price has shot up, almost every day, in your words, the scarcity value being one of the reasons. What would be a reasonable price range to add, on a pull back, if it ever happens, in near term ? Thank You
