If you only had sufficient funds to buy one of the above in a TFSA what one do you believe will provide the best return in a year and why? sector allocation here is not a consideration in this case

Q: Earlier you commented on the earnings saying that the market may not like their revenue miss from $35.4M from and expected $36.2M.
On the other hand, they bought a company as big as them. Since that deal closed on March 31, it was not accretive to the earnings released yesterday BUT they guided considerable higher on revenue and EBITDA for the year.
Wouldn't increasing the future guidance have more of and effect on the stock price than earnings of a quarter where the puchase was not accretive?
Thanks

Q: Would holding GUD be close to the equivalent of holding cash right now? I understand it’s a security and nothing is 100% safe but when I look at the cash in hand along with Goodman’s shares (which I assume he’s in no rush to sell) it’s probably around the current price per share. Would you see this as a viable alternative to a piece of the cash portion of a portfolio with nice potential upside long term? Thanks as always for this service!
Q: I am concerned regarding Mr Vounassis background at Bombardier. Given that Bombardier has been the worst performing stock in history and an ultimate example of corporate welfare, it is not a good name to have on a resume.
Also, sometimes applying methodology from large corporations to smaller companies does not work so well.
I hold some XBC and will continue holding but I have concerns.
Your comments please
Thanks for your great service

Q: Your comments please on the latest executive appointments at Xebec. Do you think they are positive? Thank you
Q: On May 17th, your response was "EIF and FSZ as well, though those may be considered 'just' income with perhaps less capital gains potential." With that comment, I thought I might realize the gain on EIF, like 30%....and then redeploy it elsewhere.I say this as the chart shows EIF runs up and then pulls back...and at the moment, it might be topping. Within my income portfolio, EIF weighting is OK. Without considering the income tax implications, am I wise to do it, trim the gain, or as EIF would be a long-term hold with a dividend nearly 6% and expecting to hold until the fundamentals change, just do nothing?......Appreciate your insight on this.....Tom
Q: SYZ has been weak since earnings came out. as they weren't good. What do you see as the bottom trough (price) for the stock? Would you add to a position at this time?

Q: You recently commented that at this point you like TFII better than CNR and CPR. Could you elaborate and would you consider TFII a good choice for growth if we have inflationary pressures.
Thanks!

Q: Looked like a decent quarter. Can you provide some colour? Thanks Mgmt seems to be executing and most analysts have upgraded the stock. And is it reasonable to expect CAGR of 10% going forward from PLC? Thanks
Q: Forgetting about the KSU acquisition, which would you prefer today. A 5-year chart shows that in 2016 CP was trading at about $26 CAD and CNR @ $80 CAD. CNR's Dividend is a full 1% higher.

Q: I currently own FSZ and wondered if you feel a 5% weight would be too high for an RRSP account? At the moment I have a 3% weight and wondered if bringing it up to 5% would be ok ?
