Q: Seems the "cold war" with China is about to heat up, what with Biden and other nations about to try and corral China. At the same time, China is putting restrictions on it's own national companies listed on foreign stock exchanges. Then there is GOOS and QSR wanting to expand into China and their respective P/E multiples reflect this expected growth. With this changing and rather negative context, is it time to selling positions in GOOS and QSR?......Tom
Q: Dear 5i
I have the kind of investment problem (if you can call it that) with one of my stocks in my unregistered account . TFII has gained 170% ( thanks to your recommendation ) and represents about 10% within that particular account . Typically you recommend rebalancing a stock once it gets over 10% . I am reluctant to sell any portion of the stock as i`m not keen on paying taxes on the capital gains but at the same time don`t want to feel like i`m gambling somewhat by leaving the full amount in the account of this stock . What would you suggest ??
Thanks
Bill C

Q: thoughts on the quarter please? Thx

Q: I'm reviewing KXS today as it is a part of my portfolio. The feeling I've had in the last year, and stronger after looking today, is that KXS is a moderate revenue grower (up to 20% year over year recently and forecasted), but still valued comparible to high-fliers growing at 50+%. Based on the forecasted revenue growth, is the 20x sales multiple justified? It seems like a solid company and no debt issues, so this is simply a question on valuation. PEG is also very high. What am I missing, given that you know the company better than I, and the market right now is obviously seeing value that I'm not. I'd like to make a decision on this one before the next earnings come out in August.
Q: What would you consider a good entry point to start a position in TOI.CA?

Q: Good day! Looking to add a growth position in Consumer Cyclical with either of DOO or DOL or any other you may suggest. Already own MG and ATZ. Which do you suggest and why. Thank you!
Q: GUD seems awfully cheap at $5.05. Would you have any issues averaging down at this price? I see there was some insider buying fairly recently in the 5.25-5.30 range.
Q: Hi 5i,
Pls comment on Alaris's 2nd qtr results, and future outlook.

Q: I would have thought the market would liked quarter results. Any reason why it's flat? Did anything material come out of the conference call?
Q: What would be your preference between holding on to REAL or adding to GSY?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: I know you like this company. I tried to find a report but not to be found. I assume that it is one of the those companies that automatically makes the team without further analysis. What I am trying to understand is "why" is this company a good investment at this price? It has a P/E of about 80 (LTM), a PEG of about 9. Is this really a company that is growing at such a fast pace to merit such a high multiple. The 2nd part of my question is "Do you recommend buying this company in a non-registered account/TFSA/RRSP and why". Thank You for your on-going support.
Q: With Magna being down do to vne acqusition would now be a good time to switch from nfi
Q: Comments on the quarter?
Q: Good Morning. Looking at a long term price trend line (10 year) DSG has had a very good run but it has had a few price pullbacks (early 2019, beginning Covid, April/May 2021). High level can you comment on what was the reason(s) for the price pullbacks in early 2019 and this year?
Q: It seems one of the larger global concerns is supply chain management with obstacles from natural disasters (eg wildfires in Canada, flooding in Europe) to parts shortages (eg semi conductors) severely crimping the flow of goods. What would be the best investment approach in light of this concern? 5i's has in the past suggested DSG and KXS as suitable investments for example.
My thanks.
My thanks.
