Q: Just a follow-up to Les’ question about finding total returns for a company. Doesn’t the 5i interactive graph just show the percentage increase in share price, not total returns including dividends?

Q: For a 5-10 year hold within a TFSA could you please provide your top 10 Canadian stocks or CDR’s ranked by total return/compounding potential? For a non-registered account with a 3-5 year timeframe could you also do a top 10 list including both Canadian or US equities (no CDR’s), again ranked by total return/compounding potential? Thanks.

Q: Which might you recommend of these 2 for a 2 to 3 year hold and an entry price? Thanx.
Q: Hi, similar to a previous question, I've held DSG for awhile at about 4% of my portfolio and have come out a bit ahead. Would YOU think it might be a good time to sell half and begin a position into KXS? Or continue to hold DSG and initiate a position into KXS more slowly?
As a new 'customer,' I'm really appreciating all your advice! Thank you!

Q: Which one of PNG,Vnp,Zdc do you think would provide the best return over the next 5 years?
Q: I noticed you prefer KSX over DSG recently, and I’m wondering why. Or is GSY the better choice of the three? I have held all three for a few years and due to timing issues I have a much higher gain on DSG and GSY. I know past performance does not guarantee future results, but can’t get over my negative bias towards KSX. Also I have too many different stocks and know I should concentrate more. (I.e. 20 vs 30+)

Q: Hi,
Could you please recommend 10 (5 US / 5 CAN) high-quality defensive companies with strong balance sheets, low debt levels, and robust cash flows that YOU believe they can weather economic stress, inflation, or stagflation and they relatively hold up their stock prices during such times? If their current stock prices are overvalued, please suggest your recommended entry prices.
Also please recommend ETFs that mainly invest in companies with the above criteria?
Thank you

Q: Hi guys I hold all 3 of these stocks, and have for quite a while - RCH, ADEN, and RUS. I am looking 5 years out and thinking I might sell the RCH and ADEN holdings and buy more of RUS. This would still leave my RUS holdings at below 4%. Your thoughts which one of these companies do you think would be teh best bet 5 years out?
Much thanks

Q: Hi 5i team,
I'm confused about PRL's dividend sustainability due to negative free cash flow (−$57M in 2024 and −$3.7M in Q2 2025) and high leverage (112% D/E). Your March 2024 report assigned a B+ rating and positive outlook might be because of strong revenue growth (38.68%) and high ROI (30.33%), but didn’t address these cash flow issues. What am I missing? Is there something in their business model or cash flow timing that supports dividend sustainability?
Best,
Matt

Q: In January you noted:
We are mixed here. We don't like the leverage and the sector may still be weak under Trump policies (solar).
What's changed since then that made you come around to it and add it to your growth portfolio in July?
