Q: I had planned to buy TIXT as my next Tech purchase but it has been trending down (down 2% today as I write this) and I do not buy on bad momentum. However, it is getting near ist price the week of its issue and 5I are positive on it long term. I realize you cannot pick bottoms but is there a price wher you feel it "should not go lower"

Am i looking at this right regarding the exchangeable part of the share. If BAMR does well you get the upside of a very specific business but if it does not do well your downside is protected by the exchangeable back to the regular BAM shares?

Q: Reading through their earnings and it sure feels like it was a blow-out quarter. The stock is down 4% today. Is this just a sell the news event or did I miss something materially negative from the release?

Q: I realize that you have a generally favourable view of EGLX, but it seems overly extreme that the SP has declined more than 40% since 3 May. Any insight other than investors shunning small caps? A short attack?

Q: LNF is held in a portfolio whose mandate is income and capital preservation. There are a total of 12 equity positions. LNF seems to have some concerns about imported furniture and recently had a small downgrade from an analyst. I am wondering about switching to, say, TRI. Would such a switch be good, this portfolio with its mandate. Thank you for your excellent service.

Q: Buy TFII or ATA? Which would you suggest and why or do you have another you would suggest for a TFSA?

Regarding not "averaging down".....how about the situation where you are slowly building a position over time, as funds become available? For example, I am in the process of building a position in Leon's (LNF). I bought in Jan '21-$21.60, Apr '21-$21.95, June '21-$21.65 and plan to buy my last portion when the monies become available in August or September. Each time I review various LNF metrics, as well as recent 5IR questions, and then decide whether adding is appropriate. If I continue to like the metrics/answers and LNF happens to be lower in price, I then feel like I am getting it on sale. Does this rationale make sense to you?

Q: MRS announced the formation of a New Advisory Committee. Looks like an experienced team. Do you view this as positive? Contracts have been slow to come in but maybe they are spending the team putting the pieces in place to support the growth they see ahead.
