Q: Hi,

Bam PR’d that they will be issuing 1 share as a special dividend for every 145 shares held in Bam. That will leave me with 1 share and some change left over. Do I read it correctly that the new shares will be priced at the same price as BAM shares?

What to do with this singleton?

Q: I see you are sitting on over 7% cash in the Income Portfolio. Any plans to deploy these funds in the short term....or is this strategic?

I notice the Balanced Portfolio is at 1% cash, while the Growth Portfolio is at 6% cash.

To my way of thinking, I can understand the Growth Portfolio having a higher cash balance due to the more volatile nature of the fund and wanting more cash, so as to take advantage of opportunities that may arise. But...I would have thought the most conservative fund, the Income Portfolio, would have the least amount of cash, so as to generate the most income at the steadiest level.

Thoughts?

Thanks...Steve

Q: Concerning tfii question of John the 7th june, i think it is due to a downgrade from BMO : https://www.lapresse.ca/affaires/entreprises/2021-06-06/l-investisseur-avise/une-premiere-chez-goodfood.php

I did a quick google translate on tfi section ;

Up about 75% year-to-date, TFI lost support from BMO this week. Analyst Fadi Chamoun on Monday withdrew his recommendation to buy the stock in Montreal-based trucking company formerly known as TransForce. The upside potential is limited, he said, although future results could be wow. "Much of it is already discounted at the current price," he believes.

Q: Hello… I didn’t see a response so I am resubmitting the question below just in case. Thank you for your help.

I read your report on Topicus. Thank you for putting this together. In the report you state Topicus trades at 10 times sales, however, in the peer analysis it states the price to sales is 3.73. Can you please help me understand the discrepancy or what my misunderstanding is?

Also, I very arbitrary question, but just looking for your opinion - at what price is the stock a generational opportunity and at what price is the stock a bargain?
