Q: Hi 5i
Given the announced deal setting the take over price at around $ 46 canadian, can you explain what is happening with the day to day sp fluctuations? Seems to be heading down with heavy volume.....seems strange......Other than opportunity cost of holding, in the short term, do you see this continue to slide lower?

should one be concerned with the downturn ATD is going through right now? Is it maybe related to the outlook for energy and the transition from gasoline to electric? ATD is facing big costs going forward converting or adding charging stations.

Q: Hi team,
What is your take on LMN’s aquisition news today from Casa systems? I see limited info from the press release and no numbers. Do you know the history of why casa went bankrupt and is it concerning for LMN at all being in the same industry? I can only assume LMN knows what they are doing in seeing value in these assets.

Finally pulled the trigger here with this name at 34 and change .. is this a good entry point ? That said Having this name in my tfsa for a long term hold , would u be comfortable dollar cost averaging here when funds are available and let this name ride for many years ..

Q: G&M reported that Pride Trucking company has filed for creditor protection. The main reason is a “freight recession,” which means that the volume of goods getting shipped has plummeted. Are all trucking companies, including TFII, getting affected by the 'freight recession'?

Q: Hello Team,

The Canadian banking sector has been fairly muted for a while now, notwithstanding higher rates which have been beneficial in boosting interest income. And, soon, rates are expected to decrease. Is that going to hurt their earnings or help due to an overall smaller delinquency in loan repayments? If it will help, from a choice of buying and holding some of the smaller Canadian on-line only banks or the traditional ones, say for the next five years, which would you recommend?

Q: CS seems to be having some very nice momentum and positive Technical charts. I like you like buying at new alltime highs.

BUT this company is more dependent on commodity price movements.

In the past I have invested in miners, gold copper etc and can count on one hand how many times that has turned out poitively.

So my question is do you still feel very bullish on CS at this level and would you put new money into it now?
