Q: WSP has been a strong performing investment and a long time favorite, both for 5I and for me. The current P/B is over 3.6, and while it has historically had a higher than average P/E, it currently shows a P/E of 46.

Do you believe these matrices show it is as becoming over valued?

Also, the Price to Cash Flow is 28.1 while Price to Free Cash Flow is -8.60. Can you please explain what these matrices reflect for companies in general, and how do you see what seems to be a significant difference in these measures?

Q: If you held no current position in NTR but wanted to begin one, would you be inclined to buy before or after earnings are released on February 8? I ask because the stock was clobbered after earnings were released in early November 2022.

I realize this is a timing issue which can be a mug's game but I am still interested in your gut feeling.

Q: Good morning team, BMO, TD and Royal have all announced big acquisitions in the past year. Do you expect each of these to be positive for shareholders in the next 2-4 years. What are some of the individual risks to these deals being accretive? Which of the 3 deals do you expect will provide the best return for investors and why?

Q: I am looking to add to one or both of BN and BAM. Do you have a preference on one or the other. I know that one is growth oriented and one is income oriented but are their present valuations similar - is one priced better than the other. Thanks.

Q: Hi, Most of Quality companies' stocks in Technology sector have bounced back nicely, during the first 2 weeks in January. But Kinaxis has not moved at all and still stuck around $140 level. We have held on to a 2% position, based on 5i' conviction as being one of the best in supply/logistics software sector, similar to Descartes. Any reasons for the lagging performance ? Is it time to move on and allocate the capital to better use elsewhere ? Thank You

Q: Hi there. I am looking for a dividend growth company or ETF to add to our kids RESP with a 10 year time horizon. What do you recommend from the 5i Research universe to initiate a position in now. After the initial purchase, I intend to dollar cost average on an ongoing basis. I already have Telus, Abbvie, and BMO in two other accounts and those are my highest dividend payers.

Q: hi folks:

on any and all mid to long timelines, BNS has VASTLY underperformed both RY and TD

i suspect this is the latin exposure, followed up with crappy mgmt

at what point does an investor (or 5i) admit you/we are collectively wrong, and drop it from our/your preferred status?

do you have a serious blind spot?

honest question, because the evidence is quite clear this is not in the same league as td or ry


and yes, i make may own decisions, and take full responsibility for my actions

thanks again, and please note that while this is a fairly minor issue, i find your service is top notch
