Q: Is the market over reacting ?
Q: I purchased this as an IPO at $10. I am down 18%. I earn $227 monthly as a dividend. I am now getting into the 'bored syndrome' . Do you reccommend I hold or sell?
I was thinking of replacing part with Peller, part with Fiera (FSZ) and top up my BIN.
I hold all of your portfolios in the reccommended allocations.
If you reccommend I sell and buy the other 3 in total or in part, should they go into an RRSP or not? My DIR is not registered.
Would appreciate your input.
I'll hang up and listen to your answer :)

Q: Down around ~40% on Kelso & Questor in 8 month old's RESP. $1800 to use elsewhere if I sell.
Context is 3 RESP's 4 year old, 2 year old, 8 month hold, managed as single portfolio (new contributions annually). 14 Names held at relatively equal weights are KLS, QST, GUD, PHM, CXI, PSD, ADW, BNS, WEF, MCD, CSU, FFH, SU, ESL. Happy with all except maybe PSD is a bit of a dud lately given sector.
Sit tight on KLS & QST given investment horizon?
Sell and put into a little overweight in one of 12 names left?
Or sell and put into AirBoss or other 5i stock/ETF suggestion?

Q: BCE or ET? My thesis is to hold this for income and I would like to consolidate my portfolio. In order to do so I need to choose between these 2. Which one would you choose?
Q: Both companies have now reported what appears excellent results. Could you comment on colliers' results and do you have a preference for one or the other. Do you view them as long term holds? Thanks for your insights

Q: Hi 5i Team,
Riocan dropping quickly. Is there anything new or is this just the interest rate fear again. How would you feel about just exiting the REIT sector for now? Have lot6s of other financial exposure. Peyto seems to be in the same trajectory.
Thanks again for you response,
Ted

Q: Your view on stb ? Been dropping lately.
Q: Hello Peter & Co,
You have added Air Boss (tonight's top pick) to your growth portfolio at the end of June ($22.30) when the price was way into overbought territory. I would have waited for a pull back (perhaps wrongly); what was the thought process that made you decide to buy at that time at that price?
Thanks
Antoine

Q: Would you be kind enough to comment on my current allocation below. Does it make sense to sell some of my dogs in my overweight sectors and start to chip away at sectors where I have smaller allocations? If yes, could you give a few sector and company suggestions to buy? Please comment on my Cdn/US allocation as well and do I have too much cash. I have 25 stocks in my portfolio, spread across TFSA, RRSP, LIF, 20+ yrs before I need to access any of this money.

Q: Hi Peter and Staff
I got out at $39 and missed a nice ride up. TD projects close to $50.lpng term hold if I consider price. Jump and dividends should I replace ABT, SYZ or ET or stand pat and why?
Thanks for all you do
Dennis

Q: Hi there
Corby is off about 10% from its highs earlier this year. I don't see any significant news. Just wondering if that is because of perceived interest rate increases coming later this year? I was thinking of adding to my small position to bring it up to a 5% weighing for income. Any thoughts on the company and this move?

Q: Not sure what happened, I submitted the following question last week (can't remember exactly which date, sorry) but still no answer, in case it was missed, here it is again:
We have ala, arx, cos, cpg, sgy, wcp in our energy allocation, currently approx 7% of portfolio, besides ala & arx which we held a few years already, others are down 20-60%, we are not too concerned, plan to ride out the downturn as is.
Just wondering in your view, is there any better energy names you would recommend to swap for better gain during upturn and at the same time, log some capital loss for future gain?
Thanks

Q: There is possibility that next year there will be a minority Ndp/Liberal government in Ottawa. As a result it could be detrimental to the Canadian dollar, banks & telcos, etc.
Although the U.S dollar now is over $1.30 is it too late to switch say 50% of one's holdings in the above to the U. S. ie sell 50% of Bce Royal buy At&T &J P Morgan
