Q: On Mar. 14 in the Q & A, Mike was concerned about a short squeeze on CELH and provided the reasons why. 5i said yes there could be one and I get the impression from reading the answer that a short squeeze would cause a fair sized drop in CELH.
Jason Donville was answering a question on HPS.A and he said it had quite a run and he likes it, but he is going with NXT because it might have a longer runway at this time.
Thank you

Q: There seems to be a lot of commentary in the market about a potential pullback given the current run the US and CDN markets are having, while reaching close to all time highs.

Maybe the noise has me spooked but I do find it tough to deploy cash to stocks in the current environment, particularly in the AI and Tech space, given that some stocks are seeing growth of 200% to 400% in one year.

Its a long winded introduction to my question, what is your current view on the market, do you feel that a pullback is possible in the next few months, would you be cautious right now?

I understand that no one can predict the market at any given time but I would greatly appreciate your view.

Thanks
Tim

Q: I hold two small positions, which combine to about 2.5%, in New Gold Mining and Triple Flag Precious Metals. I am considering a switch to Lilly Pharmaceuticals. At the moment, my exposure to the materials and health care sectors are about 5% each: this would change my weighting to 2.5% materials and 7.5% health care.

My questions are which of LLY or (TFPM + NGD) have a more favourable outlook on a three-year horizon, and would this potential impact on my portfolio diversification outweigh any potential gains?

Q: Hi guys
Looking at three companies in the Industrial/Consumer areas. Looking out a year to 3 years what would be your favorite(s) in regards to total return. Can you also give the forward P/E for the 3 stocks?

Much thanks

Stuart

Q: Hi, I'm thinking of gradually reducing my individual stocks and moving into etfs for an all around set it and forget it roughly $3 million portfolio for someone retiring in the next few months. Can you give me your suggested etfs and percentages to hold to accomplish this balance? A chunk of these funds are not invested yet so I'd also like to know how you would suggest deploying these funds? Would you edge in gradually over a period of time or just get the money working? I'd really appreciate any advice you could give me in this format.
Thank you as always!

Q: Hi team, I hold the above in more or less equal weights and I need to sell one to fund my RIF payments for the year. Which one would you expect to show the least growth in the next year? Or would you chip away at all of them equally?

Thanks as always, Rod

Q: Today, on a risk scale of 1 to 10, 10 being high risk, where would you place a portfolio of 3 parts vbal and 1 part vcns for an 89 and 83 year old couple? Funds should never be required for use, other than being transfered as an inheritance. If wanting to decrease risk a bit, would a one year gic for say 25% be the best idea or?

Q: I have held these companies for some time but I am getting impatient. The three year return for BIP is approximately negative 10% while the three year return for BEP is approximately negative 40%. These stocks as you well know are part of the Brookfield family and are generally highly recommended. Do you see a positive future or is it time to get out . Your comments would be appreciated. Thank You.

Q: Can u pick your 3 best choices and why for a long term hold in this market area? Is it too concentrated to own all of them? Are there any CDN examples of these home builder companies you recommend?

Q: Just adding on to the last question on NBLY. Since the arrangement has been approved, would it not be a smart play to purchase shares at around the buyout price in order to have access to the CVR rights? It looks like you would get your investment returned within a week when the deal closes and you could await the result of the CVR at no cost.

Q: Hi 5i
AC sp continues to slide even as globe and mail reports "executive bonuses fly higher after a profitable year"......Does AC have any upside potential from here? Seems AC is worse off than during the almost total shut down of airline industry during pandemic or am i looking at it too pessimistically....

Do you think AC could go bankrupt....
Longtime shareholder exploring alternatives buy sell or hold....Suggestions for alternatives to this space. 2 year time frame...

Q: With increasing power demand (AI, EV's, data centers, etc.), what positive or negative impact does this have on BEP.UN and FTS ?

Are there any Canadian REIT's that are currently investing in the apparent demand for data centers - perhaps DIR.UN or GRT.UN ? I know that BIP.UN is now investing in this area.

Q: Can you suggest an AI
play at this stage. A little late to the game perhaps??

Q: I am currently overweight energy and under in real estate. Which of the above three should I trim or sell completely? It seems ENB is as much utility as Energy and it's rather flat, for me. Love all the Energy dividends. The sole Realty I have is DIR.UN which I'm happy with. Which Canadian REIT's would you suggest and would I be better with a US or European REIT? If so, with one(s)? Many thanks
