Q: In your reply today on CAO you quoted the P/E as 17. My screener shows EPS at 2.46 for a P/E around 12. Can you check whose numbers are closer. Thanks.

Q: Morning,
What do you recommend for an owner of CBL given the current events? It's trading under $14 this morning which is below the number I believe the company intends to repurchase at. How would you act given the news?
Thanks!

Q: Thoughts ?
Q: No recent news, reporting date is April 7th I believe.
1. Would you expect some type of announcement along with results?
2. Market seems to suggest any offer would be above $4.25, what do you believe would be a fair offer and what would you advise for current shareholders? Buy, Sell or Hold.
Regards,
Robert

Q: IWG is a Nanocap trading at 2x book. They have 14 straight quarters of profitability, are trading at 9x earnings, have consistently high margins, a board/CEO with history in the aviation industry, and contracts with many big aviation manufacturers. Also, based on what I can determine, North American government regulations require potable treatment on air vessels. I am hoping you can answer some or all of the following questions:
- The annual report 2015 indicates IWG has 1 major competitor in the Potable Water Systems & Water Heaters space, who are they?
- What is useful life of an IWG water system?
- What % of revenue comes from the maintenance costs of an installed IWG water systems?
- How many corporate jets are in service worldwide? Is "lower for longer" oil price seen as a corporate jet business catalyst
- Are Bruce Gowan (chairman, former Magellan CFO) and C. Edward Butterfield (CEO) known as "good" management in the aviation industry?
- They are implementing an ERP in 2016, what is the estimated cost?
It's a tall order, but your my research department :) I really appreciate what 5i offers!

Q: Good Afternoon,
My parents are getting older now ( in their 70's) and getting more and more nervous with volatile stock markets and problems around the world, needless to say they have become nervous investors. What do you think of Segregated Funds, more specifically Guaranteed Minimum Withdrawal Benefit (GMWB)? Basically a seg fund that not only provides a maturity guarantee, death guarantee but a guaranteed income stream as well. I know all these benefits result in much higher costs. Do the higher costs associated with these products make sense for all these guarantees and hopefully more of a sleep factor? They seem very complicated though.
Thank-you

Q: With the Valeant debacle going on, what is the difference between the acquisition model that valeant had and what CSU are doing?
Q: My sector allocation has gotten out of whack with consumer >20% ( due to AGT and starbucks runs) and health care now 5% (due to PHM and CXR problems ). Energy at 5%. Would you recommend I trim my consumer sector and if so is one of these companies better to trim. I do hold UNH (US) in healthcare but is there another canadian healthcare company I can add to replace my losers (prefer lower risk). Is 5% still good idea for energy? Thank you and credit me with my 3 questions here.
Q: I currently have a 19% weighting in Technology and a 14% weighting in Industrials, and looking to even this out. Would you sell Open Text (OTC) to buy AirBoss (BOS) at a discount? My position in OTC is about 3% of my portfolio.

Q: Hi 5i: I am looking for a construction/infrastructure company. I have looked at Stantec, SNC, Aecon and I am not interested in WSP for reasons other than price/performance. Of the first three, which would you recommend? I realize there is a major size difference among them, and I am interested in stability and moderate growth. Are there any others you might prefer?
Q: Hi I5, I like both of these stocks, seem to be in the right sector, in my opinion?, what bothers me is their high dividends. Can they maintain the divs? how high is their payout? Any future growth. Like to have your assessment, perhaps your suggestion or other selections.
Many thanks, J.A.P. Burlington
