Q: Is there any news regarding the recent weakness in BIP?
Q: I have an rdsp for my son with approx.15% each in BCE, CM, ENB,OTEX and SIS. Also 4% in EFN. Can you please suggest 2 stocks to add to this portfolio? We have over 15 years before needing the money.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Q: Although Mullen share prices are weak currently and the PE ratio is about 34 it seems that the Mullen Group (MTL) is optimistic about its own future with recent acquisitions and substantial stock purchases by the president and a director in Mid-May. It seems that the company has diversified to some degree away from the oil and gas sector although still quite dependent on performance of the sector.
I value very much your opinion of the future for this company over both the short term (1 year or so) and long term (5+ years) as represented by its stock price and dividend growth.
Thank you very much, Ed

Q: Hello 5i, I'm a growth oriented investor with a broad diversified portfolio.
I have a full position in Transforce (TFII). I'm currently down 15% and thinking what I can currently do to increase my overall rate of return. In your professional opinion, would you suggest myself to sell TFII, take the loss and redeploy and invest in a similar company such as CNR? and or, invest in something in a different sector that would possibly produce more growth such as AMZN, BABA, GOOGL, for and within an investment time frame of 2 years. Please feel free and suggest any companies that you would recommend now for growth. Thank you for your excellent service.

Q: Hi
I try to assess companies by their earnings and have a decent position in BAM.A
Why do you think the share price has gone up 15% YTD given poor earnings the last two quarters along with declining ROE and ROIC?
Do you think the share price will subsequently fall?

Q: I hold both of these stocks and would like to trim back to 50% of what I hold. Would you suggest keeping both or just one and if so which one.
Q: Good morning gents,
Please forgive me if this question is out of bounds.
Currently started my investment career in April. I have all stocks in the Beport covered to a T. I also hold a large holding in CNR form employee share plan which is double the Beport holding, 400K. I am looking at the growth portfolio and don't know if I am extending myself to thin.
I was interested in a 50k start and was wondering if this is appropriate given the amount I have in equities.
I have a 5 yr timeline to retirement with a decent pension plan. Thanks for the terrific insight to a formerly very cautious, see bank account investor. Risk level has gone from scared sh-tlless to moderately confident.
If this is two cumbersome or difficult. a question please disregard.

Q: I sold Dol 2 months ago mainly due to their apparent large debt load and it has risen 15% since after earnings report. I am thinking about buying it back but ask if the debt load is too onerous? Has this company been rated lately or is it on the radar?
Thanks
Thanks

Q: With such a high dividend why does this stock not get more coverage? What is your opinion of this stock?
Q: What are you thoughts on the recent results?
-
StorageVault Canada Inc. (SVI $4.79)
-
CGI Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (GIB.A $129.00)
-
Stella-Jones Inc. (SJ $79.76)
Q: Hi Peter/Ryan,
What do you think about Stella Jones and CGI group as stocks for long term and having maximum weight of 5% each? I have also noticed companies that have simple and understandable businesses (easy to understand products) can do quite well and do not seem to be attached by short sellers. For example, Boyd Income and CCL Industries, Richards Packaging, etc As a result, i was thinking of initiating a position in Storage Vault for a 3-5 year hold at current price of 2.70. Please comment on whether it is a good time and if i should start with 2% position as opposed to 3 or 4. Thank you
