Q: Can you tell me what companies operate electricity generation facilities in Manitoba, Alberta, and northern Quebec? If possible please indicate which facilities are renewable in nature. Thank you.

Q: Interested in selling puts. Have taken your advice in past on selecting companies with low debt, dividend, short term weakness, long term positives. Any specific companies to recommend now? I am aware and comfortable with the requirement for some volatility to provide reasonable premiums.

Q: Hi Team
What do you think about the take over offer? The cynic in me thinks that they let the price fall and then came out with this offer at multi year lows. Who knows want the "true value " is, so many different opinions. With the insiders that put in the offer having 57% of the shares is it not just a slam dunk for them, they can ramrod through anything that they want?

RET. is going to buy back shares at a price significantly higher than current market. Please tell me all the reasons it would do this. Of course the obvious is that it for the moment increases value for loyal share holders who are seriously under water. However I wonder about the long term. Your thoughts please. Thanks!

Q: Hi All at 5i! I was reading an article in the post which made reference to Canadian debt. Not just the debt held by individuals, but also , the debt held by corporations. In a down turn, it has been predicted that this could be a large problem for the corporations and the lenders. Are there corporations that we should stay clear of as investors, which are heavily debt laden, to the point of being a major concern? Cheers, Tamara

Q: What kind of EPS growth do you forecast over the next 1-5 years? The estimates that I have seen are similar to the past 5 years, ie quite good.

Morningstar and others have been and continue to be negative on this company, due to the highly competitive environment which is only expected to get worse. Yet, the company continues to put up good numbers. I’m confused.

Q: I would appreciate your take on Saputo's results.Revenues are up for yoy and qtr vs 3rd and last year but earnings appear weak. Is this a one-off due to the recent acquisition or something more concerning. Quite frankly I have difficulty judging the impact of IFRS accounting on the income statement. I look forward to your insight.
