Q: Hi,
Is it too late or is there still room to play the lumber industry?
Which of the 3 companies would be the best play for the remaining innings.
Please rank by upside.
Best Regards,
Ed
Q: In the Companies section does the Dividend Growth Rate refer to the growth rate from year one to year three/five or the annual growth rate during the three- or five-year period?
Thank you for considering my question
Q: While I have no issue buying and selling stocks in my registered accounts, I find I am tremendously reluctant to sell stocks in my non-registered accounts when there's a capital gain. By way of example, I've held onto MSI for a couple of years and am up 45%. The stock seems to be stalling...and I'm tempted to replace it with MG. Two questions/asks:
1) Please discuss your strategy for selling profitable stocks in a non-registered account.
2) In my case, would you replace MSI with MG...and why? (In terms of industrials, I also own TFII, WSP and J.)
Thank you.
Q: Good Day! Looking for your thoughts around these three aerospace companies. I'm very interested in added one of these to my investment portfolio in the near term.
Q: In answer to Savalai's query on Apr 21 with regards to Moez's article on Growth Stocks on Sale, SVM is mentioned as the best on the basis of debt to equity ratio. BUT this company is not in Moez's original article. Error? Intended to be another company?
with thanks, gary
Q: It seems to me that this is a critical juncture for the growth and development of these two companies, somewhat akin to the number 1 and 2 teams in the Northern Division playing each other in a hockey game. The winner will not only get a win but also deal the loser a loss at the same time. Your thoughts please.

Q: Hi Guys
I have owned Onex for quite a time but it is quite a bit of it's long time high of $100 and really languished this last year. I know the Westjet picture (small part of them really) and their time frame is long but even selling of some of their investments has not really done anything to Onex's stock price. I am wondering of swapping Onex out for Alaris given they both invest into private companies, or own them. The dividend would be nice too, although not really the main reason I would switch. Looking out 5 years and total return, which would you own?
Q: PYR is down 38%in the last moth, I'm still up 45% , JD does not seem to be going anywhere ? OKTA I am up over 100% and thinking of selling and taking the profit. These next ones, I'm simply down on: APPN -38%, WPRT -40%, QST - 38%, PAT -72%, AT -51%, PLTR -38%. What would you do ? Buy, Sell or Hold. Thanks.
Q: I hold the above in my income portfolio. With the exception of psi they are half positions. psi has diminished to well under a half position. I have enough new money to top 4 or 5 up to full positions. Which of the above (if any) would you suggest deserve a full 5% weighting? I am of course willing to move in a new direction if that were your advice. I currently hold 24 positions in this account.
Q: Hello 5i Team
I am thinking of selling NFI and replace it by MRE.
Although expectations for NFI are much better I think the return for the forseable future is better for MRE.
What do you think
Q: After a nice run, do you think it is a good time to take profits on Western Forest Products and move on or do you think there is still material upside from here? I don't typically sell stocks just because they have gone up but I feel like this name is more prone to pullbacks after big runs.
Q: I would appreciate your opinion on the trades Iwas considering selling rsi, cae, aqn buy mg with the proceeds. Sell trp buy cnr. Sell sis,spb buy mg
Thanks for your help
Q: Hello,
I am looking at the equipment manufacturers and auto industry as possible directions for new investments. The above names are ones I have been considering but am interested in knowing what you think about heavy equipment versus automotive and within those categories, what you think might be the better choices.
Q: I currently have a 4% (total portfolio) position in ARKK in my TFSA. Down some 4.5%. Considering replacing it with equal positions in two other US techs, possibly PINS and NVDA. I already hold GOOG, CROWD, ADOBE, MSFT and AMZN.
1) Would you hold the course with ARKK?
2) If not, which two US techs would you replace it with today?
And on an unrelated topic, I own (and am exceedingly happy with) EGLX. Like GOOG, it is considered to be in the Communications sector. For my portfolio purposes, I would like to assign all or part of EGLX to consumer cyclical. Does this make sense?
Thanks.
