Q: I read in the Globe and Mail that the Hydro One IPO will have 20-30% of the IPO allocated to retail investors. If it is true, can clients using discount online brokerages accounts participate in the IPO? What do you think is a fair price for its IPO and would you recommend it? Thanks

Q: Could you please comment on the Shopify ipo. Is this one that we should be looking to buy form the outset or should we wait for the dust to settle then jump in?
Look forward to your comments.

Q: Have you had a chance to look into the new Cara offering, expected pricing of $19-22, expected yield of 1.9 - 2.1, to be announced the week of April 6th? Likely will be well over-subscribed, but if one could get access to them at the IPO price, would you invest in it for the long-term?

Q: Hi Team,

I know you're not keen on IPOs (nor am I). I was just wondering what you think about the potential of Cara Operations going forward with a public listing. It seems like it has a lot of recognizable brands and could be interesting in future. Do you have any advice on how to track this and what to look for as a potential entry point?

Thank you. Michael

Q: Hi Team,

I need your valued opinion on an upcoming IPO.
Prem Watsa of Fairfax Finl Hldgs fame along with some big institutional heavy wieghts is coming to market to raise money for an Indian Fund, i believe its a US funds IPO. I think its already been priced ( $10.00 per share) and could be coming to market as soon as this week. On a sde note, would you know if TD Financial is part of the selling group?

Thanks for you all you do!

Stephen
