Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Would holding GUD be close to the equivalent of holding cash right now? I understand it’s a security and nothing is 100% safe but when I look at the cash in hand along with Goodman’s shares (which I assume he’s in no rush to sell) it’s probably around the current price per share. Would you see this as a viable alternative to a piece of the cash portion of a portfolio with nice potential upside long term? Thanks as always for this service!

Q: What is your opinion of BNTX as a 3 year plus hold. Do you believe there is evidence to show there technology is transferable to cancer and flu vaccines. Do you see any potential downside to purchasing the stock at this time or are there other companies that you would prefer in this sector. Thanks

Q: As I watch the growth stocks in my portfolio get crushed I can't help but also feel excited at the buying opportunities that are being created for others I thought I had missed. With the Nasdaq only 1200 points off its high and companies like TWST (down 57%), LMND (down to 60%) or BOMN (down 50%) or NVTA (down 55%) it is undeniable that many of these stocks have been revalued.

My question pertains both to these specific companies and smaller caps in general. Do you think companies like these are close to finding a floor meaning that it is time to start buying in tranches as they inch down or do you consider it more likely that we need a major sell off and full capitulation?

With these specific companies, what would be an entry price that makes sense for each for the first 1/2 and then a full position. (ie buy a 1/2 of LMND at 75 and then full at 60 if it gets there).

Q: AVEO Oncology share price jumped after it got FDA approval for
FOTIVDA® (tivozanib) around 2 months ago. It ramped up for this by securing capital, and issued new equity, @ $ 8.00 which was fully subscribed, including all offered additional shares. New Director appointed who seems to be quite an authority on cancer research.

Unfortunately. the Share price dropped after the spike on approval, and has fallen back to old levels. what seems to be the problem ? When do you think, if at all, the price will reach the lofty levels recommended by the Analysts covering it.

Thanks and Appreciate all the advise and guidance you and your team provides.
