Q: Last year, about this time you listed a number of stocks you thought could do well in the year ahead. The only one of these that I picked up was Savaria, and I’m up about 30%.

I’m now curious about your thoughts on the current valuation, and specifically on the percentage of revenue from US /international and how the cheap CDN dollar will affect SIS revenue.

Thx.

Q: Good morning,

I've added to the positive momentum on LLY.
Would you still consider adding to NVO if already held?

An averaging down on the stock for that sector of a portfolio? Basically a decision on balancing or potential momentum with all the weakness of late.

Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i
NVO sp is currently down 21 % on negative news of clinical trials on new weight loss drug...Expected weight loss from clinical trial was 25% and drug delivered only 22.7%...
How do you view the market reaction and where do you think sp goes from here...would 5i Take any action on this news?

How would 5i expect these results to affect HIMS going forward and would 5i be interested in starting small position in HIMS...if so, at what price would you consider reasonable.
thx

Q: I own HHL and LIFE (two separate accounts). They aren't looking too healthy lately. What are the likely reasons? Trump, cover calls, interest rates, time of year, etc?
Thank You, Merry Christmas

Q: Could you recommend a few ETFs trading in CAD that would provide exposure to healthcare. A couple of ETFs for growth and a couple for Income using covered calls.

Q: Thanks for your response to my previous question. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, CVS is down 4% this morning on this news:

A Senate bill, sponsored by Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) and Josh Hawley (R., Mo.), would force the companies that own health insurers or pharmacy-benefit managers to divest their pharmacy businesses within three years.

But surely, if CVS divested their pharmacy business then the proceeds could be used to reduce their debt? So why has the market reaction been so harsh?

Q: If I understand correctly, HHL is a Canadian ETF that holds US or maybe global Health Care stocks, and HHL.U is the same fund in US$.
For US$ Health Care covered call ETF, would you recommend the HHL.U or would some other similar ETF be more suitable?
Thank you
jerry
