Q: Hi Folks,
Trying to raise some cash in my non registered account. Reducing the number of stocks in the account. Currently have ISRG and ABBV as my health sector holdings and both have done well. I also hold ABBV in my RRSP. All things being equal, which one would you sell. Account is growth focused.
Thanks

Q: Hi,
If not already asked can you please comment on the most recent Well acquisition and the potential to the revenue and EPS increases going forward, ie accretion with the acquisition.
Is the Walmart Canada mention in this same news release a pilot project where if successful it will get rolled out to multiple Walmart Canada sites or is it already implemented in multiple sites (via the acquisition) and if so how many stores, 25, 50, 75, 100% of all Walmart Canada in store pharmacies?
Just trying to gauge the impact of the news release. The stock did not move much so assumption is that it is not that material.
Cheers,
Steve

Q: I own WELL and am still up in a non-registered account. Would you consider a sell and switch to VHI for better future growth?

Harvest Healthcare Leaders Income ETF (HHL $7.62)
-
Harvest Healthcare Leaders Income ETF (HHL.U $8.37)
-
Harvest Healthcare Leaders Income ETF (HHL.B $8.85)
Q: Being that the USD is quite high right now, what would be the best out of these three HHL ETFs to buy this fall? I have Canadian dollars so would be moving the money to USD to buy HHL.U. From their site it looks like the HHL.B is the best performer overall but I'm not clear how today's rates effect price etc.
Also would it make sense to have another fund like VHT or IYH to compliment HHL, which would give more upside over time? In one response you like VHT better - why is that?
Thanks so much!

Q: What is your opinion of CNC as a near-term (for < 1 year) or long-term (5 years+) hold?
Do you believe its recent one month -14.37% drop to be strictly "election jitters"?
Thanks,
David

Q: The rationale in the recent bump up in the Growth Portfolio holding was in part due to expected margin expansion - which in particular? Also can you comment on the latest and largest acquisition of Strata Health. Thanks.

Q: I currently just have ABBV in my portfolio so was thinking about adding an Healthcare ETF. You often mention IYH and XLV in your QandA; do you have any others that you would recommend with a higher dividend as I am an income investor who want some growth? IYH has a 3% div on 5i site, but 1% on most other sites - could you explain that? Was also thinking about adding MRK. Can you comment for a longer term hold. Thank you.
Q: Performing very well on a tough overall day, clearly the market is very impressed with VHI's acquisition of Strata Health.
As always, would appreciate your analysis.

Intuitive Surgical Inc. (ISRG $496.73)
-
WELL Health Technologies Corp. (WELL $3.97)
-
TransMedics Group Inc. (TMDX $133.99)
Q: My wife feels like she has too big a position in WELL for a relatively small company.
She is thinking of selling of some and buying ISRG or else TMDX during what seems an attractive current dip.
She is fine with risk, so is considering ISRG for its growth more than its stability.
Please give your thoughts on the relative outlook for each of these companies in the mid- to long-term.

Q: The market seems to really like the earnings of ABBV. Got a nice dividend raise too. Where do you see the runway for this is over the next five years?

Q: Hello 5i Team,
Your thoughts on these 3 names. SRRK & CRNX gave us good returns with the recent run and I intend to replace with IBRX.
Thank you!

Q: Hi,
Few weeks ago I bought a small position in TMDX at $130. As the stock got closer to earnings, I sold some naked puts at $105, collected a nice premium and expecting that if it dropped after earnings, I could pick up some more 20% lower which I'm happy to do. With the larger stock drop after earnings down to $85 now, I'm thinking about my options. I'll most likely be assigned the shares at $105, which expire in 2 weeks.
As you have mentioned in many comments, I think these results are temporary headwinds and long term I'm still bullish. I'm tempted to 1) sell another put at around $70-75 and if the stock drops there, I'm happy to buy more. If it rises, I just keep the premium and reduce my cost base. Or 2) I was thinking I could buy the stock here and sell a covered call at around $95-100? Any other ideas you would implement here if this were you? what would YOU do if this were you? Thank you!

Q: According to Portfolio Analytics, my current allocation to Health Care sector is too low. Here are the names of 12 major US pharmaceutical companies. How would you rank them? If possible, please provide a short comment on each of them: Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, AbbVie, Amgen, Gilead Sciences, Eli Lilly, Merck, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Abbott, Biogen, Bristol Myers Squibbs. Thank you
Q: Any comments on the company going forward would be appreciated. I have a small position that as of today has jumped up to 4%. I know you don't personalize responses but buy sell or hold? Take some profit?
Q: Hi,
I find the 3 following health stocks interesting: isrg-q, janx-q, wgs-q How would you rate them for strong growth in a period of 3 years and why ? Any other you like better in the sector ? Why ?
Gratefully,
Jacques IDS
