Q: Protech Home Medical (ticker now PTQ) just released their YE results. With the SP up 14% and trading volume more than twice its daily average in the first two hours, the market is clearly impressed so I would appreciate your analysis. As the turnaround under new management appears to be well underway, is there a chance that you might re-visit this company?

Q: Hi 5i:
What do you think about Assure at this point? I have been patient with a small position despite the suggestion just to sell and move on to something untroubled, just to see what would happen and because it actually seemed like it had an interesting business. The problems they had seem to be getting resolved. The share price has been relatively stable for a while now with the odd uptick recently. Is there enough going on there to justify my continuing to hold or would you still say no reason to stick around? Thanks!

Q: I'm looking for a healthcare stock to ride out the next couple of years - where I expect a recession - in relatively low volatility, high dividend stocks. I have no CDN healthcare. Can you give me a list of two stocks or efts you like?

Q: May I have your thoughts about Conmed Corporation? They seem to be doing well. Are they profitable with positive cash flow, are they deeply in debt, any insider ownership and do they have a niche which offers some protection from Stryker and other "big boys"? How is their record for beating or at least matching expectations? We already own ISRG for a 3% weighting and PFE having a 3.4% weighting in our healthcare sector.
Thanks,
Jim

Q: Hi there,

This stock has not recovered at all and seems to be heading down further. I have owned for a long time but this trading pattern seems a bit unusual. Is there some news i have missed. From what i can tell from the last quarters report, all of its business lines are expected to continue growing for the next 3+ years.

Thoughts?

Q: I know members have started to raise questions about Knight Therapeutics' cash balance and when they will use it to make a large acquisition.
I am reminded of this YouTube video from 2014: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCps-WZB7_U

Jonathan Goodman was quite clear when he made this speech that it could be 10-15 years before he investors could see big results.

My main questions are: realistically, how much pressure can shareholders place on the company? Is it possible that impatient shareholders could push GUD to make wrong move/acquisition with the cash?

Q: I received a notice of the certification and settlement of the Concordia class action.
They have $5,294.365.61 less legal fees. They state: "Qualified shares disposed of on or before the 10th trading day after the public correction (Aug. 25, 2016)". I myself along with a lot of 5i people (who sold on or about that date) sold my shares on August 18 (settlement date). The rules of this are very convoluted. It doesn't look like I qualify. If I did, I would have to send the information to you to have it interpreted. Hope you can shed some light on this. Thanks Dennis

Q: I'm wondering if you can give your thoughts on TTOO? Company history, growth, acquisition record, management, balance sheet, cashflow and earnings? Risks? Do they meet forecasts?

Q: Good day and happy New Year team,

This is a twofold question so deduct as many credits as needed. First, I know multiple questions have been asked about GUD in the past. I've been in the name for a few years and hold a gain. That said, how much more patience should one have with this stock? At what time should an investor move on because it really seems like not much is happening?
Second question not related to the first. I dabble in penny stocks and I constantly see 100 share bids from the same house. Bid gets filled and immediately another 100 share bid appears. My question is this a sign of a house accumulating and keeping the price low to do so? I know that's a general question. I'm just wondering if this is some form of manipulation by some bigger players.
Cheers
