Q: Good Morning: TRUL has been in a downward spiral over the past week, yet d fundamentals look strong and analysts value the stock at $82.86 ... Earnings valuation for the next quarter are forecasted to be slightly down but 2021 full year estimates are very positive. Have you come across any other news? Thank you.

Q: Hello 5i,
It is time for the magical orb to let us know where to invest with a 3-5 year time frame. Everything looks foggy and scary with fairies signaling an impending catastrophe. There may be good deals and then again it could be a mirage and all hell will break loose in coming months. Let's put a happy face on and make a few selections.
Please choose your top 10 stocks in US or Canada to buy or add to today.
Cheers,
Debbie and Jerry

Q: Hello Folks:
It appears technology stocks are moving opposite direction to industrials such as Deere, Caterpillar, Cummins etc. which have been very quiet for a number of years.
Is this a normal situation?
Does this mean there is more confidence in this sector and less in technology; or is it because technology has been the go to in times of uncertainty; although I would think these Covid times would have produced more uncertainty with the opposite effect.
Do you feel this trend will continue empowering industrials at the expense of technology such as Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google etc.
My specific question is re: Veeva (on a steady downturn) and how you view it's long term prospects.
Thanks for your good work
brian

Q: I've got ~$20K coming into my RRSP. What 4-5 companies would 10 years from now me be really happy that current me invested in tomorrow? Not necessarily looking to find the next Shopify (although I wouldn't be upset if I did) but rather strong names that you have the most confidence in over the next 10 years.
Thanks
Harrison

Q: These once promising growth stocks have declined, more than others. Would you consider them in the 'hold' or 'sell' category? And in which order?
The market performance generally does appear to create more uncertainty even with good news on infrastructure funding etc., rotation alone might not be the only cause. What is your take?
Thank you, Team!

Q: This company is down 36% since its high earlier this year. Do you foresee any improvement here or is it best to take the loss and move on? Thanks.
Q: Hi 5i,
Just wanted to get your current thoughts on AT:CA (Acuity Ads).
I see that they have come down quite a bit from recents highs.
Any reason for this?
Would it be a buying opportunity at +/-$16, or wait for it to settle down a bit?
Also, if you could provide any information in the way of a short synopsis on the company that would be wonderful!!
Thanks.

Q: Good day! I will be receiving a large income tax refund in the coming days and will be adding in to my wife's TFSA which already includes positions in ATZ, NVEI, KL, GSY and TRUL. Time horizon of 20+ years affords a healthy appetite for risk. Her others accounts are well-balanced and moderate risk. I'm looking to add 2-3 positions in the above stocks. Please rank in order of preference for a long term hold. I am also open to any other suggestions. Thank you! (Note: I own WELL, XBC, LSPD, GOOS in my own accounts)

Q: Based on recent market movements, if you have to pick 3 - 5 companies to buy (Canada or US, irregardless of risk), which ones would you pick?
Q: Which one would you add to today for a long term TFSA?
Thanks

Q: Hi ,
With wild swings up and down with high growth tech stocks, its my opinion that nothing has changed other than their markets caps and the price. In some cases they have even become cheaper then they were, EV/sales etc. I decided to hold on to my high growth stocks as the "underlying business" fundamentals have not changed. In some cases, they have even got better.
My portfolio is down roughly 40%, which i would consider quite normal during a pullback of this sorts.
Would you agree with my thinking ?
Thanks,

Q: The 2021 market hasn't been as fun the 2020 market, though I'm optimistic for a much improved remainder of 2021 - like 2020.
All things considered, if you were to pick up five stocks that have sold off (US/CDN) for a 5 year hold, what would they be?
Cam.

Q: Can you please comment on todays earnings report
Q: Hi team
why is this stock dropping since the initial offering ?
now down closed to 20%
I am aware that there is no dividend
was it related to potential increase in interest rate ?
I owned Telus but wants your opinion before starting a partial position
for capital gains
thanks

Q: In the Ottawa area I am hearing radio commercial from Square promoting their services to local stores. The services Square is selling seem similar to what Shopify’s has to offer. Is Square now offering the same services that Shopify offers. Thanks … Cal
Q: Hi Peter,
Would you put new money into this ETF ARKK following the recent sell-off? This ETF has >22% in three companies ; TSLA, SQ and ROKU all of which are quite volatile names so this ETF could go either way depending on the market, right? Looking for growth, medium to high risk, 5-10 years hold.
Thanks in advance.
