Q: Hi team,
Being overweight in the tech sector, which ETFs of my present portfolio (above) would you suggest to drop either because they are too similar or not representing strong growth ?
Which of these ETF you would consider « Buy and forget » type ?
In addition, I hold the following tech stocks: TOI-T, CRWD-Q, NVDA-Q, TTD-Q, LSPD-T, ENPH-Q, QCOM-Q, SHOP-T, APPS-Q, SEDG-Q. As I need to raise cash, is it better to sell ETFs or individual stocks and which ones ?
Please use credits as you see fit.
Grateful for your attention,
Q: Hi team,
I am looking to add some new money to a tfsa. It looks like there have been some sizable pullbacks and leading stocks from some of your CA and US favourites...could you please suggest three of each that you might advise investing in at this point?
I already have sizable positions in TFI and GSY.
Thanks as always!
Q: Hey 5i,
Say that you are a “very aggressive growth investor/trader” using a commission-free brokerage and a stop loss strategy to mitigate risk to make sure you are far from the last one out when a downswing/correction/crash happens.
1) What would be your current top 15 highest conviction aggressive picks that you think would appreciate the most in 2021 (USD and CAD), regardless of any other considerations like sector weightings.
2) On businesses that you are most comfortable with (GOOG, AAPL, MSFT) what would be the highest weighting you’d be OK with? The stop loss strategy to mitigate risk applies.
Q: Gentelmen:
Given the expected increasing interest rate environment and current valuations of these two stocks, is it still a good buy and if so then which one has better upside potential?

Q: Hi Team,
After the pullback over the last 2 days (today especially), would this be a good time to add to this company? Or do you see further weakness here? If so, what price would you target to buy in, if at all? I know there's lots of hype about the possibility of Score moving to the nasdaq. Do you believe the growth potential is here as hyped up to be? Do you consider the management solid? Thanks for your input.
Looking at acquiring this Company. In an answer to a recent question or it. You said there was a lot of 'noise' surrounding the stock and that may account for its dip. Can you elaborate?
Q: Score has completed their consolidation and is trading up today. In addition they have announced "Private Members Bill C-218 and Bill C-13, to legalize single event sports betting in Canada. Today, Private Members Bill C-218 was voted on and passed overwhelmingly at second reading in the House of Commons. Similar legislation in Bill C-13, which was previously introduced by the federal government, would legalize single event sports betting at the federal level in Canada and is anticipated to be taken up by the House of Commons in the near future." Am I correct in assuming that with shareholder acceptance of the share consolidation and todays announcement, the stock should continue to be well positioned for growth.
Thanks
John
Q: Knowing ROKU and PINS are in different business, their market caps are similar and share price performances in a 1 year are also similar. If just buy one, which one will you pick? Thanks.
I just started subscribing to your service in October which began my journey in to the stock market. While I get started I have decided to mimic your growth portfolio and spread out $25k over those stocks. I tried to follow the weighting of the portfolio at the time. I now have an additional $15k to invest in my TFSA and was hoping you could suggest the following:
1. Which 10 stocks in the growth portfolio should I add to right now? I don’t want to split my buy too finely across all stocks in the portfolio. My strategies are consistent with the overall goals of the portfolio.
2. Thinking of the same strategies in the growth portfolio, what are 3 US stocks that I should newly acquire?
3. What are two stocks that I could acquire for a short term 2-3 month hold?
Thanks very much. Have really enjoyed your service.
Q: Hi Everyone at 5i! It has been reported that the UK is designing a few model homes which use hydrogen for heating and powering appliances . Are there any notable companies in North America that are working on Hydrogen as an energy alternative that maybe worth while investing in? Cheers, Tamara
Q: I’m looking at Hydrogen & Clean Energy ETF’s. Can you rank these 3 BLDP, FCEL, & BE ? Also looking at ICLN ETF. What are your thoughts on all 3 as well as the ETF. Thanks.
Q: Please could I have your assessment of Growgeneration GRWG. Very little debt, good fundamentals but fair value is 30 now price $57. I do not know if that is too high for a growth stock. Your opinion on a buy please.
