Q: any opinion of future growth of this company and if its a buy or a forget ... thx
Q: Hi,
I am aware these companies are mentioned, often in a positive light, fairly often in your Q&A section. To be honest, I struggle with what you might be seeing that apparently investors don't seem to be aware of, as these have all sold off quite a bit recently. I am interested in whether or not you still feel as positive on these companies now, as you may have in the past. U gapped down in Feb by about 15% and has since dropped about 40% more. VEEV is probably down about 23% from its Feb high, and ROKU about 37% during the same period. I understand there has been a rotation away from tech but these strike me as having a very long way to crawl back up, even though I understand earnings haven't been all that bleak. Am I missing something here? I would be very interested in your thoughts and these and any others you feel might be really under priced lately!
Thanks!

Q: In mid-January you preferred trul over cura!
Has anything occurred over the last 4 months to change your preference?
Or would you prefer some other "weed" stocks.

Q: Your thoughts on the acquisition of HARV by TRUL. TRUL has dropped a bit on the news and is 26% off its $65 high earlier this year. You previously mentioned TRUL as a reasonable candidate for exposure to the cannabis space. Do you still think so?

Q: My TFSA appears to be revisiting a March 31 bottom. It came up somewhat through April but is revisiting the low seen at the end of March. Is this also reflected in the tech stocks that 5I covers. Is the tech sector nearing somewhat of a “fair value” scenario. At what point during a sector rotation do investors suddenly realize that there may be some “value” in hanging on to growth tech stocks.

Q: What do you think is the remaining downside in this market? 0% or 5% or more than 10%? It does not bother me because markets go up and markets go down!

Q: Hello,
Can you comment on the merger of ZENA into HEXO. Combined company should have sales around $220M and reduced admin costs. Also, buying ZENA now seems to offer a ~13% discount to the takeover price. Is this due to takeover uncertainty?
Thanks

Q: Lately, I've been researching companies that sell their products or services directly to consumers such as Angi, Pinterest, Fiverr and Pelaton to name a few. I dig up at least a dozen articles and opinion pieces from various investment-related websites, including yours truly, 5i Research. In the case of the above-mentioned companies, there hasn't been much in the way of negative facts that would lead me to take a pass on any of the above companies,. But, when I go to review websites such as TrustPilot, etc., the percentage of negative comments from consumers of these products or services is extremely high, anywhere from 20% to 70% with ratings of 0 or 1 star. More worrisome is the fact that the number of reviews is in the hundreds which leads me to think that the negative comments do not originate solely from competitors. How much importance would you give these reviews when weighing the pros and cons of an investment in a consumer-facing company?
