Canadian Solar Inc. (CSIQ) is cheaply valued. Especially considering its growth potential. The company has a strong backlog in energy projects and plans significant production capacity expansion. It is also planning to unlock value by an IPO in China of a subsidiary. The relative valuation to peers looks good as well. The company had a strong performance over the past year, it's still a bit behind other solar stocks as shown by the Invesco Solar ETF (TAN).

Q: Good Morning 5i,
A number of stocks such as GSY, SHOP, and LSPD seem to have been long time 5i favorites identified early-on that have done quite well to-date and appear to have a lot of room left to run.
Finding 'the next' is why a lot of us are here. Regardless of industry, is there a company or two that might not be favorites yet but are on your 'watch list'.
(Also understanding that nothing is guaranteed. If it was easy to identify 'the next' then we'd all be sipping drinks on the beach right now)

Q: I've portioned off a smaller amount of my portfolio into a separate unregistered account, reserved for growth names. Currently holding GRN, KRR, PRN, QST, STC, WELL. I have cash for 4 more names, will hold for up to 6 years. I was thinking about SIS. XBC is already held in my TFSA. Can you please suggest 4 growth names to consider that would complement the existing holdings? Thanks.
Q: I was hoping to hear your thoughts on VERY. I sent in a question about this company a few days ago, and elected to re-send the question in the event the message was not received. If you received the earlier message and have been working on a response, please accept my apologies for asking twice. In any event, as always, I look forward to your insight. Have great day!
Q: I have some money available to invest. Are there any 'must own' stocks, either Canadian or US, that are currently at or near their 'must buy' prices, that you would recommend? Or should I keep the cash on the sidelines for now? Thanks
Q: Can you identify a couple Canadian and U.S. opportunities created by today's selloff? Growth focused 1-3 year timeframe, favourites that have crossed into comfortable "buy" territory?
Q: Could you please explain the impact of their new announcement. I don’t understand what 1.18 EH/s and hash rate means. How do they compare to other Bitcoin type investments
Q: cYour thoughts please about purchasing a new position in Cargojet in a TFSA.
Q: Good Morning... your thoughts on MGNI earnings, guidance and prospects... thx M
Q: Good morning.
I'm wondering what your outlook for Cargojet might be considering that it has had quite a drop this week. I have been with it since about $20 and have yet to sell. Would now be a good buying opportunity?
Thanks for your insight.

Q: I hold a 3.3% position in CRWD at ACB of 213.89. It has gone from the $240s range low 200 range over the last few days. I can’t find any real fundamental reason for the drop other than profit taking in the tech sector as investors rotate into interest sensitive stocks. In fact most of what I find is bullish. I’m looking to add to my position. Am I missing anything here? Would you consider it a buy here ?
Q: I currently have full positions in Nvidia and Guardant. Would you make any changes based on their latest quarter and forecasts?
Thank you
Thank you

Q: Hello,
I have new money to allocate. Which ones of these are your favorites for 5 year + hold notwithstanding they have different risk profile and in different sectors (best overall risk / reward. I am underweight small cap). I already own KXS and ENGH but i could add to existing positions. Thank you!

Q: Please comment on the recent financial results for 2020 and the change from a holding company to an operating entity. Thank you.
Q: What are your thoughts on buying 1-2% of CGGZ? Would you recommend it be placed in a TFSA for the high growth potential, or in a non-registered account for potential capital loss, or to not buy it all? I am not risk adverse since I still have 10+ years until retirement.
