Q: Greetings 5i,

The company's listed are TFSA holdings. The goal of the TFSA is moderately aggressive growth. Time frame is 4-8 years. Equities are purchased in equal weights and rebalanced based on weighting.

SLF and BNS are also held in other accounts, at an overall portfolio percent of ~5-6%. Which would you recommend adding to at this time? What do you consider the weakest from this list? Would you consider removing any from the TFSA holding only in either a non reg or reg account? If so, why? And which one, two or three additional growth oriented companies, either CAD or USD would you recommend.

Take as many credits as required.

Thank you for the excellent service.

Q: Hi 5i,
Am I right in thinking that perhaps the market has decided that BRAG is the horse to back going forward and that EGLX isn't really in the race, or is that a too simplistic or short-sighted way to look at it, as between these two names?
Thanks for your thoughts,
Peter

Q: We are looking to create a 'growth' portfolio using our TFSA accounts. This portfolio will represent a small portion of our overall investments. The portfolio will hold ~10 Canadian and ~10 US stocks. All purchases in the portfolio will be made with the intent to be long-term holds (10+ years).

Using the 5i research reports, model portfolios and Q&A section, we've selected the listed Canadian stocks. Please rank these stocks and suggest any tweaks, additions or subtractions, you might make. As well, please suggest a companion list of US stocks. Thanks!

Q: As a follow up to my previous question regarding the number of stocks, which two stocks do you have the highest conviction in if the goal is pure growth over the next 10+ years (GUD, EGLX, APPS, NVEI, and TOI)

Q: With the backdrop of global warming and water likely becoming a more valued resource (see Columbia River article on CNN), are there any companies that over the long term (5-10 years) may see strong growth as a result?

Q: The genome space seems to have taken a hit and I'd like to add some to my portfolio. Can you give me 3 to 5 Canadian or US stocks going forward that you believe have the highest potential of gains( I realise this would also be subject to the most risk) for a 5 plus year hold.

Also 3 to 5 stocks from Canada or US that you feel should be held for long term exposure.

Thank you.

Q: When looking at growth vs value or tech vs more cyclical stocks, we have seen stocks like GH go from $181 to 99, Coupa from $377 to 208 or Acuity Ads go from $26 to $8 while the DOW hits all time highs. My question is what do you expect would happen to this type of small, growth company when a correction comes? Have they been punished enough that they are buffered or even so an inflow of capital in a rotation or would they likely be punished even more severely due to (still) high valuations? As a part 2 to this question, what would be your five favourite growth stocks that have been beaten up and would you start positions in them today or wait for further declines?
Thanks!

Q: This company just reported, seems to be a sizeable miss on revenues, how much was the miss on earnings? Their customer base continues to expand, along with their continually growing product offering. Is today's sell-off a good entry point, or should this company be considered too high risk, too volatile?
Thank you as always...
