Q: Hi Peter and company,

What would be the percent weight range holding the “magnificent 7” in a portfolio for a growth investor? Are there any names you would substitute? Expand to 10?

Q: Over the last 30 years my best investments by far have been with smallish to medium sized profitable businesses with good long term growth prospects that I have bought and held for 10+ years. Generally market caps of roughly $500 million Cdn. to around $5 billion Cdn. A few have generated 20, 30 times my initial cost. I am wondering about the prospects of each of these following companies producing those kind of multi-bagger returns over the next 10 or 20 years. Would you please rank these companies in order from 1 to 13 according to the likelihood that they will become another CSU, BYD, WSP, TFII, etc. that can be a big, big winner for a long term investor: ATS, ATZ, DOO, EQB, GSY, HPS.A, KXS, LMN, NVEI, TIXT, TOI, TSU, WELL. Admittedly, TOI is a little big at $8 billion market cap.

Secondly, are there any other Cdn stocks in this size range that you would say have that kind of big upside potential, and where would you place them in comparison to the above listed companies.

I have sold MG at the top, is it a buy at this level? the stock momentum is good, car sales are on the upward momentum in the US.

You have B+ rating on MAL, do you still feel positive after the last Q?

Would you add to an existing TIXT (loss position at this point) at this level representing now only 1% of my portfolio (given your B+ rating for the company)?

Q: Can you enlighten me on BEP.UN.
I see a staggering amount of debt, net debt roughly 32.4 billion. Cash from OP around 2.8 billion, which is only around 8.6%. Negative free cash flow. Total Debt/EBITDA around 8x. Interest coverage around 1x.

Next year I will be retiring, and currently I have the outlined stocks in my RRSP, I'm happy with all of them, I think I would like to sell some of them (or trim down, slowly -no rush) and buy stocks/etf that will provide resilience , some yield, and perhaps some growth , can you please provide me with some ideas, 3 or more , I was thinking BN, add more to VFV.

Q: With US inflationary concerns (hopefully) receding and the Fed finally pausing on US interest rate hikes (again hopefully) I'm hopeful the US market strength will broaden from some of the mega cap names like NVDA down to more mid-cap opportunities. Q: I have owned SNC for a few years now and it is sitting around what I paid. Dividend is very low . Do you expect any worthwhile growth or should I move on. I have a fairly well balanced portfolio but can add or build a new position.

Q: I realize this stock has been disappointing but I continue to believe there is good long term growth in this industry. Would you suggest patience with this name or can you recommend a more compelling stock in the same industry?

Q: Any idea why this one is selling off so hard and fast? Does it have to do with AI competition from google? It seems it fell right out of favour about the time i bought it.
