Q: UrtheCast Corp share price has declined almost 50% from it's high in June. Do you think this is a good time for an investor to step in, what do you think the time frame will be for increased contracts and cashflow? Thanks

From the growth portfolio, these stocks are down and i'm considering taking a position. Would you suggest getting now a full position or start with only half.

Q: What do you think of Shopify now that it's had a first financial report? It has really shot up today. If you recommend it would you wait to see if the price goes down or buy at this level? I hold about 2% in PDP.V Pediapharm and about 2% in SPN.V Snipp both of which are down since I purchased. Would you use some of these monies to buy SH? My total holdings in biotech are about 12% and include PHM, NHC, GUD, and PDP. My holdings in tech companies are about 10% and include SPN, WIN,EL,GIB.A,CBX (scant amount),FEYE.US,SIMO, and GRMN.US. CSU is another one I have on my radar. Thanks!

Q: Hello Peter & Co,
In response to an email about my portfolio, you suggested that I get some US exposure via an ETF. I do not believe in ETFs because it usually includes the good along with the bad and even the ugly. Would you please suggest 5 or 6 US names whose performance would be in line with the 17% pa that I'm getting with my Canadian holdings?

Q: with phms announcement today of its latest deal and when it closes they will have adjusted ebita of 44 million with about 236 million shares outstanding, my question is the stock seems cheap by any metric. am i right or wrong. dave

Q: Shopify has rocketed up since IPO and going higher each day, espcially last few days and Globe and Mail said many shares are bought by institution as their holdings has become very substantital.
How is their business revenue and profitability, and growth prospect. Is this a hype or fundamentally very sound?

Q: Good morning...we are approx 15 years away before any need to access RRSP...I have done well so far but feel I may be too conservative or too much time on my hands...I have a portfolio of approx 21 stocks..I have done very well with a mix of CSU, ES, MG, BEP.un...plus a mix of a few others...My question is regarding BNS (7.7%),H&R/REI.UN (7.5%)CGX (5.7%) IPL (5%) NPI (4%)...would you recommemd based on my time line I can risk a bit more...if so recommendations...Thanks
