Q: Hi Guys looking for some ideas for my RRSP and TFSA contributions for the year. Obviously without knowing my other holdings this is a little more difficult exercise for you, looking for max growth, dividend not required and 20 years until retirement. Based on the discussion from 5i I'm considering CXI, DHX and/or QST. Any thoughts? Thank-you.

Q: Happy New Year Team!!
I am looking at putting together a new TFSA portfolio of ETFs with the following considerations:
-$36500 to invest.
-time horizon 10 years +.
-target 10% growth per year.
-goal of a diversified mix with exposure in and outside of Canada.

Question: Which ETF's in which categories would you recommend? (ie. Canadian, US, International, Sectors, Bonds, Dividends, etc.)
Thank you, I look forward to your reply.

Q: I've been searching for relatively cheap canadian pharma stocks that have postive cashflow and earnings growth. I recently came across CRH Medical, a recent recommendation of J.Donville. After accounting for the recent aquisition (trailing earning, some dilution, and debt), to me, it still appears quite cheap relative to the sector. I realize there is some execution risk, and now a fair bit of debt, but it seems reasonable. How do you assess this company and compare it to other small/growthy names in the sector? I currently have a half position in CRH and I am thinking about doubling down. I also own PHM and CPH in the sector but they don't look as cheap anymore. Thanks.

Q: Would you please give me a quick rating for the following companies: Concordia (CXR), DH Corp (DH), Boyd Fund (BYD.UN) and CGI Group (GIB.A) -- in the A, B, C rating that 5I does. I realize a full analysis is impossible, but just wondered in a "wish list" of descending companies, which would you choose for a post-Christmas present to yourself, for growth in 2015? Thanks.

Q: Hello Peter & Co,
Hope you had a Merry Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year.
12% of my portfolio is in Health/Pharma which comprises CCT, CPH, CXR, GUD, RX and XHC; is there a point to adding CRH which is similar to RX?
Thanks,
Tony

Q: Can I get your views on this company at present stock price. Does not want to seem to pull back any. P/E seems high at 48x and P/B is at 18. Is this considered high for small cap?

thanks

Q: Hello Peter and team,

I am getting ready to make my 2015 TFSA contribution on Jan 2nd, and with some cash in that account I would like to invest in one or two growthy stocks. What are your top 5 suggestions for a TFSA at this time (holding period is 3 years minimum).

Also can you list your top 3 TFSA suggestions in the Information Technology and the Health Care sectors.

Please rank your choices highest to lowest.

Happy New Year,

Paul J.

Q: I was disappointed to read this week that the “Growth Portfolio” won’t be available until March. I need to be very aggressive for a while. I currently hold: atd.b, ccl.b, stn, gil, aya, which I suspect will be candidates for this portfolio. Could you name a couple of others that you are considering. Thanks.

Q: Hello Peter
I would like to diversify into the health care and pharma industry. I could not find in the database any companies that have a minimum of a B rating. Are there any health care and pharma companies that you would recommend with at least a B rating. Would an ETF be better? I would like to hold it in my rsp and have a 3-5 yr time frame to hold.

Thank you

Q: I have accumulated Canadian biotech/pharma companies RX, CPH, CXR, MSL, NRI and NHC with a hope that some of them might be taken over by the others. Do you think there is a possibility of any of these companies buying the other. Who do you think will be the most probable target and who is the most likely acquirer. Thanks

Q: In spite of the much improved 2015 Q1 operating results over 2014 Q1, LMP's stock price had dropped from its highs in August/September by some 40% by early November (although it has a major rally over the last week or so but still down significantly from its highs). Your comments on this company going forward would be much appreciated.
