Q: Can you please give me a brief fundamental analysis of DSG at this point in time (last report update was about last June). I don’t really understand technical analysis but do you see any signals technically? It is off quite a bit year to date, would you be adding here?

Q: Two part question here. I am trying to add PEG ratio to my thinking about stocks. It seems like a useful metric that combines growth with value. But I don't see it listed frequently enough for Canadian equities. I presume you work with trailing P/E and divide it by growth rather than forward P/E. Is that correct? I also realize I should be looking out for oddities in trailing P/E that shift it one way or another. Anything else I should be looking for? Second, I look at GOOG and it reads well at both a very reasonable forward P/E and PEG under 1. Are there other stocks you see with that combination? Thank-you.
Q: With the announcement today of a 24% cut in NASA's budget, including scrapping Gateway, the lunar space station, does this affect MDA enough that it is no longer a desirable stock to hold? The Canadian Space Agency had awarded MDA a $1 billion contract to build Canadarm3 for Gateway, so they have lost a major contract there.
Q: May I please get your thoughts on SHAK?
Thanks

Q: Saw the news that GLXY is listing on the NASDAQ and read the FAQ document they prepared.
Any benefit to converting shares to the NASDAQ? if yes, should I Sell and repurchase or have broker transfer the shares?
OR do nothing and leave in my CAD account as TSX shares?

Q: Hit "enter" to fast on my last question. Looking for some ideas with the understanding you can't offer direct recommendations. I have 40 K to add to my non-reg account. I have full positions in all the pipelines, OLY, GWO, BNS, CU, NPI, BIR, PEY, TPZ, CNQ, PRL and BMO. I have no need for any income for at least five years, not opposed to going overweight if necessary, have lots of higher yielders so would perhaps benefit from some choices with capital gain and dividend growth potential versus just high yield.
Q: FTG LOOKS LIKE A SLEEPER HITTING BIG POINTS ON MY SCORECARD. WHAT AM I MISSING? YOUR OPINION PLEASE PLEASE?
Q: PNG reported early this morning. Seems good. Can you assess things after call and provide how things shape for the future. Is this a good time to complete a position? What range might the stock be in a year out from now?

Q: Is it too early in the tariff war to buy these 'growthy' names? If not, can you suggest two choices (prioritizing consistent earnings) and why you chose them?
Q: Can you comment on Vertiv's earnings and the outlook for the stock? Positive market reaciton but how much of that is the market itself generally being up?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Please help me out. One of the metrics I find very important is ROE or return on equity. When I look this up look this up on 5i’s site under profile I get an ROE of 128% however when I look at the April 25/24 report it shows 2%? The current Morningstar Quant Report shows 3.99%. So 1st. question is does 5i consider ROE to be an important metric?
Secondly how can I get an accurate measurement?
Thanks

Q: What would be your best three stocks for a long term hold that have a good combination of dividend yield and modest growth on both the US and Canadian side of the border ?
Q: I hold META and would like your opinion should I buy more or hold.
If the company looses and has to be split up do you think it is worth more or less than current price.
Thanks for the great advice

Q: I am up 103% up on Galaxy digital. I am thinking of taking the money and running . But before I do, what do you foresee ( in your crystal ball) the future of this stock? My experience is that I sometimes sell too early.

Q: Good Evening
1. In buying and selling stocks how much weight one should place on technical analysis ?
With respect to BAM, a broker's technical analysis section indicated, on March 7/2025, that this security could drop to a range of 50-54. The event on March 7/2025 was described as "Megaphone Top".
2. Is there any explanation as to why BAM dropped 23% from its peak while the TSX dropped only 7% as of today ? Do you recommend adding at this level or holding ?
I will appreciate as always your insight.

Q: What are your top 15 (US or CAN value/growth) stocks with the best current valuations to purchase for long term. Thanks
Q: SHOP has received some so-so analyst ratings recently. Some are buys and some are hold and sell. I know 5i likes SHOP. But if you had to put a bad report together on SHOP, what would be the negatives that would result in a poor rating. I guess I'm asking what does one have to worry about specifically with SHOP?
