Q: Recent quarterly data from NOA were rather impressive yet the stock was down 9% today. Revenue for the quarter was $84.9 million, compared to $70.0 million for the prior year, an increase of 21.3%.
Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $19.1 million compared to $11.5 million for the prior year. Adjusted EBITDA margin was 22.5% compared to 16.4% for the same period last year.
Net income for the quarter was $1.5 million, compared to a net loss of $0.6 million for the prior year. For the three months ended September 30, 2018, gross profit was $14.3 million, or a 16.9% gross profit margin, up from a $5.8 million gross profit or an 8.2% gross profit margin in the same period last year. Would you have any thoughts as I cannot find any other news? Thank you in advance.

Q: Hi 5i research team,
In your recent report update on BOS, you mentioned the need for a catalyst as their house is pretty much in order (balance sheet, operating systems, management). I am wondering what it could be? #1 Revenue growth: BOS only made few acquisitions in the past 20 years, so it would be a surprise; and in the current state of world growth (probably slightly decreasing at best), BOS would need to enter a new related line (from their current activities) of business: any ideas? #2 Dividend growth and share buybacks: what size of increase or program would be needed to represent a catalyst? When would the balance sheet be ready (size of debt?) for such moves? #3 Privatization of the company: insiders own 41%: looking at insiders could they be buyers or sellers? Do you see this possibility in the next 5 years? #4 Could BOS be on its way to become a value trap? Thank you for your collaboration, Eric

Q: I am looking to add a growth-oriented stock to a pretty conservative bluechip portfolio, with investments in financials, energy/resources, telecommunications, drug/healthcare and transportation - mostly in Canada. I believe I could benefit from more growth-oriented stocks in other sectors and have recently acquired small positions in GC and TSGI. What growth-oriented stocks would you take right now, keeping in mind that I am a DIY newbee with only a modest ability to read statements and analyze risk

Q: Hello, my question is regarding WEED, can you shed some light on Constellation brands investment and warrants it has that can potentially allow them to become over 50% owner and what affect that could have on the stock if they exercised them. Their most recent investment August 15th was at $48.60/share, when I see this stock drop below that price I feel as though I should buy it... would that large investment at that share price technically limit the downside of WEED? Do the warrants to purchase more shares limit the upside? Thanks for your guidance.

Q: Hi 5i
I sold the above for a tax loss. 6 of the 8 are down since with FTS and ECN slightly up.
The 30 day period is almost up. How many of these would you consider buying back in the hopes that their share price will increase. I have a longer time horizon.
Thanks
Jeff

Q: Hi, The listed companies have been where I have taken a big hit. As a novice investor the lesson I've learned is that it makes sense to average into a position, especially in an uncertain market. Losses in these stocks have taken over 5% of my portfolio. Can you comment please that all of these companies show promise for the long term, and there is good reason to say they will bounce back when the markets do recover? I know that MFC has a litigation issue, and TCL.A has an acquisition that is somewhat off the rails. I don't need this money for at least 15 years, but also want to feel sure I'm setting up my RSP for an increase within a few years. Thanks.
