Q: Can I ask you to do a “mental screen” for a few mid-cap Cdn companies that pay over a 3% dividend while having the potential for above average growth in the medium to longer term? Please omit SIS, PBH, EIF and NWC (already owned) and leave out anything in the energy sector. I’m assuming not much in the small cap space would meet the div. criteria and not much in the large cap space meets the growth criteria, but if you think anything there is compelling please include as well. Thank you.

Q: With today's jump in ARM and current valuation, would you suggest selling and buying back when things settle ? I was tempted to sell when it hit $120+, but did not...

- I love many facts about the company and thought buying at $78 was expensive, but realistically what are the 5i Crystal ball suggestions and recommendations ...

Happy Spring in February!
Thanks

Q: I'm a fairly unsophisticated investor so your advice has been well worth the price.

I am trying to understand the metrics to better value a company.

The price of some companies like Costco and CSU has soared, but you have mentioned such rises not being a bubble if other metrics like P/E ratio are in line with that. Is that the case for these two companies or are they now over-priced?

Also, you seem to be recommending VRT but the P/E ration on that is around 90. That seems very high.

Q: I’m currently a momentum/swing trader, but running out of names to hop on with everything up. Can you provide 5 US growth names that you might enter based on their current momentum? Either a bounce or continued rise in the next month?

Q: I hold a U.S.$ portfolio of 9 stocks geared to growth - all of which are doing well, in large measure to 5i questions/answers/ comments/suggestions. Thank you for providing such a beneficial service. I have just lightened up on Crowd and would like to add the proceeds to one of the other existing stocks that are at lower percentage holdings (CELH @ 1% , CROX @ 1.5%, Amazon @ 2.2%) . Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Q: I recently retired and looking to place some of my savings into the market with a 5 year horizon at which time I will re-evaluate. Will tolerate a moderate to light risk. Could you please recommend 3 or 4 stocks or etf’s for my TFSA and 5-6 stocks for growth. Appreciate all your efforts. Thank you. Brian

Q: Hi,
Would you add to these names currently for a long term hold? Especially CRWD, AXON, CPRT, and BKNG, near or breaking out to new highs. Considering their valuations, growth, etc.. what order would you add and how much conviction (1-10) do you have for each name? Thanks!

Q: I hold ROP HEI WSP ATS TFII AXON VRT in the industrial sector. 5i has also recommended TT TDG RTX and URI. I would like to sort out which could be sold [in whole or in part] and which could be added to. For a long-term hold, which could go and which would you advise to be the core for this sector.
Thanks

Q: If you had to put together a portfolio to hold for at least one year for max gain what would they be? No concern for risk or the size of the company. Must be traded on a USA exchange although not necessarily a USA company. I’m guessing you will include smci, vrt, google and amazon. Part two of the question is whether I should sell some smci to lock in a gain? I’ve never in my life enjoyed such a large gain so quick. Thanks.

Q: In terms of growth and quality, what is your strongest long term recommendation for each of the following investment themes:

Artificial intelligence
Cybersecurity
Cloud computing
Digital payments
Online advertising
Infrastructure rebuild
Alternative/clean energy
Asian consumer spending
Medical needs of an aging population

My preference is for single stock ideas (US, Canadian or international) rather than ETFs, if possible.

Q: JPM has had a decent run but I'm thinking of swapping it for Mastercard. Can I get your thoughts please?

Palo Alto has also been terrific, but I'm trying to add more AI into my portfolio. I'd like to sell it and find a new name, CDN or US. I own MSFT, AAPL, Salesforce, GOOG, Meta, NVDA, Constellation, Shopify and Kinaxis. I was thinking of Taiwan Semi, AMD or Broadcom, but can I get your thoughts please?
