Q: We’ve moved 60% of our cash position back into stocks which either had at least a B+ from you, or which you spoke highly of. After the selloff on 11 June we’re down overall about 1%. Not too bad but we’re wondering about how solid this portfolio is for more bumps to come. All are for holds of at least 2 years before taking some gains. Question - do you see any red flags before we invest more in these positions? Would you consider reducing any sectors and increasing others? If so, what would you drop and what replacement options would you consider? Presently, no sector exceeds 25% and most positions could be topped up. Previously, we had more dividend income. We are mid-sixties and the pension covers about half of our expenses. Many thanks in advance for your trusted views.

Q: Recently, in response to a question requesting your advice on a number of stocks including the above, you singled out MSFT and CRWD to "buy more". What are other stocks would you recommend to "buy more" at this time?
Thank you for your advice.

Q: I have 8 below US stocks and would like your expert opinion on which stocks are best to hold, sell, or buy more. Does anyone has big DEBTS and how is their management. If you have to sell in which order I should sell. MSFT is about 4% and all others are only 2% of my portfolio.

CRWD, ECL, BYND, FSLY, SONO, NET, SQ. MSFT.

Thanks for the great service.

Q: These are the US holdings in my RSP. All have done well except for SYK down about 8% with a limited outlook for the rest of 2020 based on the Covid pandemic. Regardless of sector weighting, what are your favorite 2 or 3 US equities for growth over the next 5 years? I'm okay with a moderate risk.
Thanks in advance,
Greg.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,

Today (rightly or wrongly), I used the large uptick in the share price of CAE to sell my position that's held in my TFSA. (I sold with a gain of 4%, not counting the previous dividends.) I feel that the "airline" sector will still be under pressure after the present euphoria settles down, but who knows?

Having said that, please suggest two or three stocks or ETFs from each of the following sectors that could be considered somewhat defensive as well as being suitable for a TFSA. Portfolio Analytics indicates that I'm underweight in:
Basic Materials
Communication Services
Consumer Defensive
Energy
Financial Services
Healthcare
Industrials

Please deduct as many credits as you deem necessary. Thanks for the continuing superb service especially during this unusual time.

Q: Hi, US airline stocks had over 75% recovery, from the March lows. Airlines also responded positively to last week's surprise of positive employment numbers. Air Canada had been a favorite of various CDN Portfolio Managers, but the stock fell to its lows in March with the sector. The stock price has seen a nice recovery over past few weeks but is still way below its Pre-COVID levels of $50+. Company now has decent liquidity after recent equity/debt offering. Do you consider it a smart move to start building a position in the company, for long term, at current levels ? If so, should we start with, let's say 1% position and slowly increase to 2-3% ? What are the important factors to watch, over next several months ? Thanks
