Q: Hi Peter and Staff

Aside from buying Alcanna at its high and selling it at its low, I have steered clear of the cannabis space as you and virtually all BNN Market Call guests have suggested.
I was surprised Brian Madden recently broke ranks and chuckled about it on BNN and picked this as a top pick.
It was the day of the last quarter or day before its release.
Where would you rank this in the cannabis space for money that you can afford to lose but would prefer not to

Thanks for all you do

Dennis

Q: I am looking at these two companies (one or both) for my TFSA which I use for my more aggressive investments. I believe the sport gambling and the e-gaming sectors offer explosive growth but there of course will be winners and losers. They both have big name backers.
Your opinion ( financial strength, management, etc. )of these two would be appreciated. Do you like either or both? Any other favourite Canadian alternatives ? Thanks
Derek

Q: Hello Peter,
Can you comment on curaleaf's earnings? This company has been doing well but it looks like the market did not like its current earnings yet the company is growing nicely. Also, why would a company remove the current CEO that has done quite well for the company? Any reason for the other three stocks: jwel well, and doc to be taking a hit. Is this just short term sector rotation due to the vaccine announcement and if so, is it better just to hold these for longer timeframe? Thanks very much.

Q: You have just won $100,000. The catch is that you have to invest it in 10 stocks right now, split evenly, and can't touch them for 10 years. You must buy only Canadian stocks. Any dividends will be invested in more shares of the issuing company. You can cash out after 10 years. What do you buy?

Q: I hold 1/2+ positions in XBC, WELL, LSPD, DPM, GUD in an attempt to add overall performance to my balanced portfolio. This group has performed well. I'm going to sell GUD and DPM. Your thoughts on adding to the rest of the holdings or adding something else like KXS. Any other stocks worth looking at?

Thank you.
Derek.

Q: I am looking to add your suggestions of Palantir and Pinterest. Can you please rank them with some of my current 5i holdings in terms of growth highest to lowest and risk highest to lowest. These are 1-2 percent fringe plays and I have a balanced portfolio so I am not worried about cap size, geographic location etc. Thanks very much as always for advice.

Q: I am looking at CRSR after their recent earning beat. Do you still consider it “interesting”? How would you compare it to Unity software? Unity is competing with Unreal Engine which game developers like more but I realize Unity is more than gaming. I also have a friend who loves Corsairs products so I am leaning to CRSR. Could you comment on insider ownership and any lockup’s from both of their recent IPOs?

Q: AcuityAds dropped by almost 10% today on recent news on a bought deal offering. What does this mean for the stock's outlook? Is there reason to be concerned about longer term hold (5+ years).
